mark's dream was rudely interrupted by the loud buzzing of his phone's alarm. a groan escaped his lips as he turned over to shut his phone off. he knew donghyuck's response had sounded too good to be true.

he threw the covers off of his body while his eyes were still glued shut.

it had been a few weeks since he started working on his robot. he spent day and night perfecting the creation. of course it had to be perfect for his crush.

during his free time, which wasn't a lot, he focused strictly on the project. spending countless hours elaborating on his amazing idea, he became more and more tired as the days passed. but surely, it would soon all be worth it.

mark didn't just want to make a robot for a good grade. he wanted to build a robot that could possibly build the foundation to his relationship. he wanted to lovebot to be caring, even without feelings, and a good representation of himself to donghyuck. after all, what better way to impress the boy you like with a skill you have.

however, he decided not to get to carried away in thinking about donghyuck so early in the morning.

another boring thing in robotics class. they had been learning about the same thing since the beginning of the semester. mark wanted to learn something new, some exciting. but nothing really sparked his interest anymore. he wished he could just work on his project.

just as he dozed off, he heard a small voice right beside him, "hey mark," his youngest friend whispered trying not to get caught for talking in class.

"yeah?" he responded with the same tone the male had.

"i'm hanging out with chenle later today," jisung whispered.

"wait really? that's awesome bro!" mark exclaimed a little too loud which resulted in the whole class looking at him and the teacher giving him a stern look. he slowly sunk into his chair as his face turned a bright red from the sudden embarrassment.

the youngest just quietly giggled and then continued talking, "i was wondering if you wanted to come, donghyuck is gonna be there."

"i'm in." mark said quickly once he heard the male's name come from his friend's mouth.

"you know, i would make a move on him if i were you soon, he has a lot of people trying to go after him," jisung suggested.

"i know, i know," the black haired male rolled his eyes and sat back in his seat. he shook off the thought of donghyuck being with somebody other than him.

"that one popular girl, yeji, has her eye on him you know? and she could steal him easily at any moment.." jisung commented at the boys reaction.

"wait... yeji? are you serious? fuck..." he said now thinking of this situation. "don't worry, i'll make my move soon then." said mark while he turned back around in his seat to pretend he was focused on the extremely boring lesson.
