mark and donghyuck were both incredibly nervous to say the least.

it was 2:59 pm and mark was waiting on a bench under the cherry blossom tree behind the school. he played with his fingers, trying to distract himself from the rush of nervousness flowing through his body at each second.

on the other hand, donghyuck was trying to make his way as quick as possible to his said admirer, he was really excited to meet them. a part of him really hoped it was a boy (specifically mark), because his wasn't really attracted to girls as much as boys.

donghyuck was still running down the hallway, while all of his thoughts jumbled in his head.

he finally made it to the back. right on time, he thought as he slowed down his pace significantly.

the brown haired male made his way closer to the cherry blossom tree as he saw a figure sitting on the bench under it. he felt as if his heart might explode from how exhilarated he felt at that moment.

as he kept getting closer and closer, each step felt like his legs were getting heavier and heavier.

he finally made it to the tree, and there he was, in all his glory.

sitting there was mark. mark lee, the captain of the robotics team, also known as donghyuck's crush.

already feeling the blood rushing up to his face, he covered his face with his hands as he watched mark stand up from his seat.

"w-what are you doing here, mark?" he stuttered. the older chuckled nervously as he played with his fingers.

"donghyuck, i... i really l-like you." he said quietly as he got closer to the said male. mark took donghyuck's hands away from his face and softly held them with his own. "i don't know how you feel about me, but i actually really like you. i have since the beginning of school."

"r-really?"

"really."

"you gave me the lovebot?" the younger brushed his thumbs against the back of mark's hands while questioning him. mark simply nodded.

"i didn't think you would have liked me before we started hanging out," he paused to think, "so when this assignment was announced, i instantly thought of you because i liked you so much."

"that's cute," the brunette let out a breathy laugh, "mark..." he looked up at the cherry blossom tree and then back at the other. "i like you too." he whispered and engulfed the older in a hug.

both boys smiled in content, as they rocked back and forth, still tangled up with one another.

"lee donghyuck, will you be my boyfriend?" he asked as he pulled away from the hug.

"of course, mark lee." he rested his head on mark's shoulder and latched on to him again.

"can i kiss you?" mark asked in a dazed state. donghyuck smiled widely and nodded his head before closing his eyes and moving closer towards mark.

mark quickly placed a soft kiss on his now boyfriend's lips and smiled at how cute he was.

"i guess i won't need the lovebot anymore, considering that now i actually have the boyfriend." donghyuck grinned.
