"you ready markie boy?" jeno teased over facetime. mark had called the boy to get his opinions on his outfit.

"shut up," mark huffed as threw the rest of his clothes back into his closet. "i still can't believe you got hyuck to be your boyfriend before i even hung out with jaemin and renjun!" the younger complained even more.

"maybe you should ask them? they seem like they've grown fond of you." the black haired male grabbed his wallet and house keys before picking his phone up off the dresser.

"like you're one to talk," the male on the other end of the line just groaned in response.

mark sighed has he made his way down the stairs, "well i have to call a taxi, i'll talk to you later jeno."

"you have to call me when you get back home, i need all the details!" jeno chuckled as he waved bye to his friend.

mark had finally made it to donghyuck's house. to say he was nervous was an understatement. this would be his first date with his boyfriend who was also his crush for almost a year.

he made his way over to donghyuck's porch to knock on the door. he knocked three times before waiting patiently.

"hi!" the door was suddenly flung open by a very excited boy. donghyuck smiled brightly at the sight of mark standing in front of him.

"ah- hi donghyuck... haha." mark gulped as he watched the boy step out of the house and close the door. "you look really good."

"aww, thank you mark! don't be so shy, i'm your boyfriend!" the younger nudged him with his elbow. mark just chuckled nervously and grabbed his hand.

"so... where are we going?" donghyuck smiled at his partner. "well there's an arcade right up the street from your house so i thought we could go there? and then eat after," he said shyly.

donghyuck just nodded and began to walk towards the arcade.

finally, they had made it to the arcade. games were scattered everywhere, loud music was blaring from the speakers, and it was a lot of people there too. donghyuck made sure to cling close to mark so they wouldn't get separated.

"what would you like to do first, donghyuck?" he asked the boy who was holding on his arm tightly, but he didn't mind it at all.

"mark, you're my boyfriend!" he pressed, "you can call me pet names, silly," donghyuck lightly punched his shoulder, "but as for the game? i wanna do a racing game!" the younger said enthusiastically.

a light blush dusted mark's cheeks as he listened to donghyuck, "okay... b-babe?" he said shyly again for the nth time that night. "there you go!" donghyuck giggled as he dragged mark to a game that had two 'motorcycles' set in font of a screen.

"no way! you cheated!" the brown haired male fake cried as he stood up from the seat.

it was already 8pm which meant the couple had already been there around 2 hours. they had played most of the games, and now they were both a little tired.

mark just stood up while laughing as he hugged the boy next to him, "no, you just suck at games!" he told his lover.

"i already hate you and we literally just started dating." donghyuck rolled his eyes as he pushed the older boy away from him.

mark just shook his head, "are you hungry? we could get some pizza."

"sounds good," the smaller said as he looped his arm around the other's arm. the two walked over to the eating area so mark could place an order for them.

"can i get one pepperoni pizza and two cokes please?" mark asked the cashier as he pulled his small wallet out. all donghyuck could do was admire his boyfriend.

he seriously couldn't believe he was dating mark lee.

"hyuck you okay?" mark asked while shaking the boy. eventually donghyuck snapped out of it, he just smiled at mark and nodded.

"i'm really happy. because of this day and because of you!" he giggled as he draped his arms over the older's shoulders.

mark smiled at the adorable boy as he pushed the stray hairs from his forehead, "stop being so cute, but likewise."

while having their cute moment, they heard mark's order which meant it was time to eat. the duo quickly got the food and went to sit down. both of them were starving.

it was almost 9:30pm when the boys had arrived back to donghyuck's house. they stood on his porch, staring at each other awkwardly.

"thank you mark," donghyuck started to speak as he looked down at their intertwined fingers. "today was so fun! and i'm looking forward to more dates with my amazing boyfriend."

"you're the amazing boyfriend here. goodnight kiss?" the black haired male said sheepishly, to which donghyuck just nodded.

he placed a light kiss right on the top of his lips, and before they knew it, mark's ride was already there.

donghyuck pouted as he pulled away, "don't pout, babe! we'll see each other tomorrow!" mark spoke as he quickly pulled him into a hug.

"goodnight hyuck!"
