Marinette had just finished loading the dishwasher when some last minute customers came in. Her father had already went upstairs to shower leaving her and her mom to close up the bakery. Marinette glanced up and saw the three weirdo new kids from her class. She smiled awkwardly and greeted them.

"Hey...." She spaces on her names having totally forgotten all of them.

"Marinette!" Grover squealed. "So this is where you live!"

"K... not stalkerish at all... what can I help you with?" She asked.

"Oh are these the new kids you were talking about?" Sabine asked as she walked over with a tray of stale croissants she was going to throw away.

"Yeah..." Marinette felt embarrassed for some reason by the kids that now represented her class in some way.

"The smell is coming from her!" Grover whispered loudly into Percy's ear.

"Hey! I do not smell!" Marinette exclaimed.

"Grover use English when talk about that!" Annabeth said in English.

"Great now there talking about me behind my back in another language I cannot speak." Marinette sighed. "You want something? Where closing soon."

"Oooooooh I wAnT a ChOcOlAtE CrOisSaNt!" Percy screamed with his inside voice.

"Ok. Anything else?" Marinette asked as she grabbed the pastry.

"Yes." Percy replied.

"Percy we don't have money." Annabeth face palmed.

"Oh that's ok! Have them free, it's my way of welcoming you to Paris!" Marinette said and handed Percy the croissant.

"K thanks we'll be on our way!" Annabeth grabbed Percy's ear and Grover's... ear thingy? "Come on guys we can investigate later!" She whispered to them in English.

Percy took a night of the pastry as his body was being dragged like a dead corpse across the floor. "Taste electric! Me likey!"

Marinette waited for them to leave before slamming the open sign to closed. "K mom I'm gonna go get ready for bed.. long day ya know?"

"Go right in ahead sweety." Was her moms reply.

Marinette trudged upstairs and leapt through the trap door into her room. She fell into her comfy desk chair and rolled it across the room to her collage of photos. (Majority of them being Adrien.)

"Oh Adrien, I don't know what's going on.. but you do. Don't you." She playfully said to the photos of him. She sighed. "Whatever. I'm a freak now, he wouldn't care. Probably never loved me in the first place." She said and got out of the chair, thinking about her weird abilities that had started this mess. She thought about talking to that girl she had met earlier today, then realized they hadn't exchanged numbers.

Marinette muttered a curse word and went straight to her closet to get in her pjs.

"Hello." Came a familiar voice from behind her.

"Gaaaaaaaah!!" She jumped five feet into the air. And spun around. "Chat Noir?!"

"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." He apologized. He was sitting in her window sill. "Can I come in?"

"O-of course." She stuttered as the cat boy fell into her room with a loud thump.

"How's your day going? Mine just started to get real bad. I fell on the floor you see.."

"I'm fine."

"You don't sound fine." He smirked as he got up. "Is there something you need to talk about?"
