Chapter Nine: What a CATastrophe

Dark.

Everything is dark.

The gods were mortals.

Hope was lost.

Their powers gone.

And what is Percy doing?

Playing chess.

"Checkmate!" Marinette cheered, knocking down Percy's king. Percy huffed in frustration.

"So.. are we going to do anything? Like.. for real?" Asked Chloe. They had gathered a meeting with all the known God holders, as they called them. So far it was just Marinette defeating every one at chess.

"Well is every one here?" Percy asked trying not to dwell on the fact he had been beaten at chess.

"No.. that Violet girl isn't..." Marinette sighed.

"We have to forget about her because there is hardly any chance of finding her again." Percy said.

Suddenly the floor of Marinette's bedroom cracked open. Demonic laughter arose. Black flames clawed at their feet. A shadowed figure levitates from the whole.

"Bro y'all didn't even try." Said the familiar sound of Violet.

"Violet?!" Marinette jumped. The holes sealed up and the flames of hell disappeared.

"That's right ya BISHOPS! MEW gonna have to try harder. I'm offended. This is PUNbelievable!" She gasped dramatically.

"That's imPAWSible! How could you PURsably find us?" Adrien responded also very dramatically.

"Well I couldn't FURget about Marinette. There was something different about her but I couldn't put my CLAW on it. So I FURlowed her case." Violet replied to Adrien.

"Wow, unBEEleivable, your so determined." Adrien said slyly.

"But the then I found out that there were more people like us. So I misfired my magic trying to find her and caused yesFURdays akuma." Violet said. "It was a DAM hard day."

"What a CATastrophe." Adrien said with a pur.

"That SHELLfish  victim destroyed my plan and so I had to start from scratch." Violet furrowed her eyebrows.

"Oh NOES." Adrien muttered, leaning forward slightly.

"So I followed this kid called Percy to school, he was acting kind of FISHY." Violet went on.

"Mmhhmm?" Adrien acknowledged her to continue.

"And then I saw my good FRIend Marinette. I found out she lived here so... here was are!"

"Why did you proCATstinate?" Marinette joined in.

"Oh Marinette not you too..." Alya groaned.

"You have got to be Kitten me, you do not just stop a a PUNNY conversation." Adrien huffed.

"Guess you guys will have to SHAVE it for later because we have to discuss our situation." Percy interrupted.

"Say one more pun and I'll slap you!" Annabeth threatened Percy.

"Oh NOES PAWlease don't BEE so cruel!" Percy raised his arms to protect himself as Annabeth's hand met his cheek leaving a red mark in the shape of a hand.

"Enough is enough!" Annabeth hissed. "This is serious!"

"Ok ok! Who's hear, and who is your god... power... something... words... idk." Percy asked.

"Marinette.... Zeus? I think..?"

"My name is Barry Alan. And I am the fastest man alive."

"You're not the Flash Alya. You're Hermès." Percy said.

"Ugh. Chloe And I better be Aphrodite or I swear-"

"Shut up ok. Your defiantly NOT Aphrodite." Percy chuckled. Chloe gasped, thinking of a way to get back at him.

"Woah hold up! I think she is BEEutiful whether she is Aphrodite or not." Violet said kindly.

"Aw thanks!" Chloe smiled.

"I know, even if it's not true I always find a way to slip in a pun!" Violet smile and Chloe frowned.

"Adrien... Jesus?"

"No you are not Jesus. Only I can be Jesus." Luka stated.

"Nah man your Poseidon." Percy interrupted.

"My religion... shattered..." Luka gazed at nothing with a blankness in his eyes.

"Like a grape!" Violet interrupted. "Violet and HADES!"

"Ok so we don't know the rest of us then. We still need Athena and-"

"Max is Athena!" Marinette blurted out.

"Ok and... Ares.."

"It's Kim!" Marinette said.

"Ok and... Janus?" Percy asked and every one stayed silent. "Come on he's the last one." Percy said after a long pause.

"Does Janus... by chance... have to heads?" Adrien asked.

"Yeah why?" Percy asked.

"My dad grew another head." There was an awkward silence.

"And I oop." Said an unknown person.

"No that is unBEEleivable. A true CATastrophe. What what a surprEYES. I did not see that cometh. You really OTTER be SHOCKEd! What a-"

"Shut up Violet." Percy grouched.

"Sorry." Violet mumbled. "PURlease FURgive me Adrien?"

"No." Adrien crossed his arms dramatically.
