Art up top by me. It will appear in an animation for YouTube so if you see it don't think some one stole it without my permission. But even if some on did I really don't care because I didn't really work hard on it. My sister said it made ladybug look fat. Feel free to use it I guess..
'Where.... where am I?' Marinette thought to herself. She was in a dark room with one large circular glass window that took up most of one wall. White moths fluttered about in the moonlights glow but otherwise the place was empty. Marinette touched her forehead with her finger. She clinched at its touch.
She definitely had a bruised bump there, like she had fallen in a curb or something.
She suddenly realized what she had just done. Stripped Percy Jackson of his powers. He was the best shot at defeating Janus and now he was just an ordinary kid. How had she even done it? She may have had the powers of a god but she certainly didn't feel godly. She felt like Marinette... normal Marinette.
She pushed herself to her feet and saw she wasn't alone. Percy was there. He lay unconscious still, tucked away in the shadows. Marinette rushed to his side and gave him a gentle shove on his shoulder to perhaps wake him up.
This came to no prevail. He was so still, his breath shallow and his body limp, one could mistaken him for dead. Marinette whispered his name with a painful crack in her voice. Her lips were terribly dry. She tried again to wake him up, calling his name.
He didn't even flinch.
Now she was worried he'd never wake up! What if he had slipped into a coma when he lost his powers! Maybe he was slowly dying. She has t known him long but she knew losing him would put herself in this wallow of guilt and shame, misunderstanding and terrible heartache.
She looked at the window feeling tears form in her eyes. She crawled to the massive glass, outlooking half of Paris. She felt trapped, but then she noticed something. Or more... she recognized something.
The gates down below on the lawn were identical to the ones at Adrien's mansion. In fact, they were the same!
She suddenly realized she was at the very top of Adriens house, in that large outlook area she had never been inside of... until now at least.
She heard the yawn of slide door opening. She looked behind her and saw a small circular area had opened in the floor and two figure were raising out of it.
Well, it was only one figure. And it bore two heads. One with gold hair and the other silver.
"Janus..." She yelped, fearing the name. "G-Gabriel?!" She knew it was June but still it shocked her, seeing the man whine she'd praised wearing two heads upon his shoulders. The man who had chased her this pain.
Fear not little one. Your so young with such power, I know you must be scared.
Neither of the heads lips moved. The silver haired one looked dazed and the other had a large grin curling in his lips.
"What did you do?!" Marinette pressed her back to the glass window.
You did your job perfectly. And I shall reward you! Adrien will forever be yours!
"Stop! That's not right!" Marinette felt her heart racing. "Why'd you make me do that?! How!"
Don't be scared, your helping the greater good of the world. You see, without your knowing, you-
He was interrupted by Marinette blasting him with a shot of electricity. The blast knocked Janus off his feet. He fell to the floor and the silver haired one awoke from its trance. Marinette knew that one was the real Gabriel.
"Mr. Agreste!" Marinette shrieked yet stayed glued to the glass wall.
"Don't listen to Janus! He wants to kill you!" Gabriel shouted.
Back off old man!
Gabriel fell into a trance again. Janus rose to his feet and moseyed over to Marinette with the grin reforming on his face.
Your different than Zeus. To shoot lightening he would have to throw a bolt designed by Hephaestus.
"I... I don't care just leave me alone!"
But unfortunately you're an amateur, I won't regret killing you since Adrien didn't.
"Adrien has nothing to do with this!"
Oh but he does. I made a deal with him, where he could kill you in exchange for his mother. Or I would do the deed and he wouldn't get his loved one back.
"You monster!" Marinette scowled. Janus was close enough to touch Marinette.
I'll make sure Hades has you put in a nice spot in the underworld, don't worry.
Marinette slammed her fist to the glass wall, shattering it. She fell backwards, tumbling out of the roof. Janus roared in anger as she fell to what would have been her death. But she had faith. Faith in Adrien.
"Wow, you've got to stop falling for me." Adrien teased as he caught her mid air wearing his Chat Noir suit. He used his baton to push them away from his house.
"Silly cat."
"That's me. Violet, your up!" Suddenly a orb of dark shadows opened up in the grounds of the earth in the street below and the jet black haired girl flew out of it.
"I aced that!" She cheered as she flew in the direction of Adrien's house to retrieve Percy.
"Adrien?" Marinette whispered.
"Yeah?" He replied.
"Where the fork are your pants?!"
"I didn't have time to change."
A/n sorry it's so short. I know I promised some of you this would be out on Friday/Saturday but my plans changed and I had to work on some other stuff instead. I hope you enjoyed this!
