Do You Trust Me? *Colby Brock*

Chapter 9

Dear diary, it's been maybe 2 weeks since Colby asked me out. It was awkward a few days after but you know... We worked around it. I've become alot closer with Sam and Jake especially. The girls are just girls and we've clicked really well.

I didn't know what else to write... I put my diary back under my bed and chose an outfit for today. I looked through my closet and pulled out a plain black long-sleeved crop top. I grabbed a pair of leggings and my black dungarees. I grabbed a black snap back off the shelf and put it on my Chester drawers. I jumped in the shower put on some black laced underwear and a black lace bra and got dressed. I brushed my teeth and used my face wash to stop any breakouts from happening. I walked back into my room to my phone buzzing. It was Colby.
Colby: Hey, wanna lift to school today?
Me: That would be lovely thanks
Colby: Okay ill come get you in 30?
Me: Sounds good

I straightend my hair and made sure all my baby hairs were managed. I did a more natural makeup look today. I had a natural smokey eye, peach blush, nude lip and a bit of highlight. Just as I was putting away my eyeshadow palet I heard a knock on my door. "Mom! Could you get that it's Colby! Send him up please." just as I shouted that I heard my front door open. Sweet he's here. I put on my black dot Martins boots and just as I went to grab my shoulder bag I felt hands on my hips. "Morning Colby" I smiled and turned around to see a big grin across his face.
"Morning Flame. You ready?" He let go of my hips and I nodded my head.
"Just let me grab my bag." I smiled at him and he took a step back. I picked up my bag and i put in my phone, keys, wallet and charger. He headed out my room and I followed behind him grabbing my snap back and putting it on backwards. He opened the front door for me as I said goodbye to my mom. We got out to his car and he came round and opened the door for me. Why is he being so nice? I asked myself puzzled. I thanked him and sat in the car. He walked round to the drivers side and got in.
"So... How are you this morning?" he looked over and smiled at me. I smiled back.
"Better now I got a ride to school" I smiled and laughed jokingly. He laughed back.
"Glad I made you feel better." He winked at me and I blushed slightly. He made small talk the rest of the the way to school. Everytime I looked over at him tho he made stupid faces at me which made me laughed everytime. Why was he so adorable all the time?

We pulled up to the school and he walked round and opened the door for me. "Why thank you." I smiled and blushed slightly. He put his arm around my back and it made me jump a little.
"You okay?" He smiled down at me and I nodded my head. He walked me into school and we met up with the others outside Sam's locker.
"And whats this then? You two together?" Sam asked and playfully nuddged Colbys arm. He shook his head and removed his arm from my back.
"Just friends dude." He smiled back. I looked up at him and he winked at me. That Boy! The bell rang and we walked to class. Colby dropped me off and headed to his classroom. My first few lessons were pretty boring and I ended up texting Alice during my last period before lunch.
Me: Hey Alice hru?
Alice: Hey Flame, I'm good u?
Me: Meh not bad. I'm sat in human emotions and it's just recap... What u in?
Alice: Sat in Spanish. Ugh its the worst, honeslty
Me: Ooh yeah that's tough 😂 I have notes I can give you for Spanish tho if you want?
Alice: Really? That would be epic thanks
Me: Sweet, come round mine after school. Gtg class is almost over,ttyl

Just as I put my phone away the bell rang. I headed to the cafeteria and met up with Colby and the others. I was sat with the girls, just talking and I noticed that on the opposite side of the cafeteria there was a girl with blond hair just stearing over at me.
"Hey... Zoe, who's that?"
"Oh her? That's Freya. She's completely obsessed with Colby." She smiled laughing.
"She's not obsessed with me." You could see the blush creeping onto Colbys face. I couldn't help but giggle. He narrowed his eyes at me while laughing and we started kicking eachother under the table. The others joined in and we were just messing till someone stamped on my foot.
"OKAY okay, time out that hurt. I'll be back, let's hope you didn't break my toe... JAKE!" I smiled at him laughing and the others laughed too. I got up grabbed my stuff and headed to the bathroom. I checked my foot to make sure it wasn't brushed. It wasn't, thankfully. I came out the toilet stall and Freya and two other girls were stood in front of me. "Oh, hey Freya right?" I asked nervously and she just steared at me.
"Okay 'Flame' let's cut to the chase. You better stay away from Colby or its the last thing you're ever gonna do." She didn't seem happy but I just couldn't take her seriously.
"Oh no, I'm so scared." I laughed pushing past her to get to the sinks. I could see her gearing at me in the mirror.
"You best be..." I turned around to face her and as I did she socked me in the side of the jaw. I was completely taken back.
"What the HELL was that for?" I looked at her completely dumbfounded. She swung at me again but I ducked out the way. "What is your PROBLEM?" I didn't understand where all this was comming from. Her two friends grabbed my arms and stopped me from moving. This was like something out of a movie honeslty.
"Concider this your last warning!" she shoved me backward just as her friends let go of my arms and I smashed my head on the mirror. It cracked behind my head and I passed out on the floor. Freya became very panicked and her and her friends ran out the bathroom.

Colby Brock

Flame had been in the bathroom for around twenty minutes. The bell had just rang and I looked over at Emily and Zoe panicked.
"Should I go and check on her?" I asked nervously.
"Shes probably already headed to class, or she'll be in the nurses office." Zoe smiled back at me reassuringly and we all headed to class. I had class with Flame, and I'm hoping she was going to be there when I walked in through the classroom doors. I am really just hoping.
