Do You Trust Me? *Colby Brock*

Chapter 4

When the bell rang for the end of lunch, Emily and Zoe both grabbed my hands and dragged me out of the cafeteria before I had chance to grab my stuff.
"Hey! Slow down! I left my stuff!" I hollard after them.
"It's fine, Sam will grab you a bag." Zoe had a massive grin on her face.
"Okay so. Colbys birthday is coming up soon, and seeing as tho you are practically friends with everyone..."
"We want you in on the surprise!" Emily belted out over the top of Zoe.
"W... Wait a sec. I just me the dude. And you both for that fact. Why would I want to be appart of this?" I felt very awkward of course I want to be appart of the surprise but I've just met them. Can I really trust them?
"Oh come on Flame! It'll be fun." Emily had a massive smile across her face.
"UGHHHH! Fine" My face had clearly lit up as both girls were beaming. Did I really want to do this?
"So... She's in?" Sam came running up beind us making us all jump.
"Yep!" Zoe said moving to make room for Sam to join the group.
"Okay well if we're are gonna do this... Let's not do it now. I can give you my number and we can arange a time and place to meet up?" I was buzzing like crazy on the inside, but I keep second guessing myself. Do I want this? The other were going to meet up at Sam's House but his cousins were in town so we couldn't go there. Zoe said her house was to small and Emily isn't aloud anyone round. That left me.
"You okay with that Flame? We'll meet up at yours after school and plan everything for next week?" I reluctantly nodded. It couldn't be so bad, could it?

At the end of class Colby came to grab me to take me to my next lesson.
"So? What did they want to talk to you about?" Colby was smiling at me. How did he know something was up already?
"Huh? Oh... Erm... Zoe and Emily just really wanted to get to know me... That's all." I don't thing that was believable.
"Aha... Sure. Whatever you say Mrs Senior."
"Oh would you shut up?" I pushed him into one of the lockers.
"Okay okay! Calm down there... Mrs Senior" he was trying not to laugh.
"I... Hate... You" I looked away, trying not to show I was laughing. He took me to my maths class and my final period. He came to me with ten minutes of the lesson left to get me out of class.
"Ready?" Can he do this everyday? Litriture is so boring. I nodded and left the classroom. "Here. Text me it you and we can hang out or something sometime soon." he handed me a folded piece of paper with a phone number and text that said 'call me'.
"You are SO cringy. You know that?" I was happy on the inside. It was sweet that he did this so off the bat. It was kinda cute. The bell rang for the end of the day and colby walked me out.
"See you round!"
"See Ya!" I headed for the parking lot. When I sat in my car I got a text.
???: Hey
Me: Is this Zoe Sam or Emily?
???: Oh right it's Sam
Me: Oh cool. What's up?
Sam: You never actually told us where you live 😂
Me: OMG I'm so sorry! I live at 59 Funeral Avanue.
Sam: You have to be kidding me.
Me: What?
Sam: Colby live at 55. Meh Aslong as we can get cars in your drive we should be good
Me: yeah yeah we should be good. See ya in 40?
Sam: See you in 40.

You HAVE to be kidding me! He lives down the street? Of course he does. We are so gonna get spotted. I rushed to get home.
"Come on door! Unlock" I had to kick my door slightly to get it to open. I rushed upstairs and change into my old cheer shorts from my old school team. I put Ben's (Best friend from old school) t-shirt on that he gave me before I left. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and took out my contacts and changed to glasses.

I was sat scrolling through some pics of my friends from Texas. There were three loud knocks on my front door. I slid down the railings and undid the bold.
"Sweet, got the right house" Sam was stood there with Zoe and Emily who had like decorating prints? I'm not too sure.
"Hi, come on in." I opend the door wider and they all step in. 'Wait don't vampires need inviting in... Did I just invite vampires into my house?! Wait no... That's vampire diaries, not real life'
"Hello? Flame? FLAME?!" Zoe stood wailing her arms around like an idiot.
"Huh... what? Sorry spaced out"
"It's fine. Where do you want us to set up?" Emily had two carrier bags on her.
"Oh erm... Kitchen?" And with that they all raced to the kitchen and started moving things off the island. We stood around just talking for about half an hour when... *Ding Dong* the door bell rings.
"Who could that be?" Sam looked at me confused. I shrugged my shoulders and looked through my peep hole. Uh oh...
"It's Colby!" I whisper yelled.
"What?!" Emily looked at me shocked.
"Just don't answer it!" Sam said putting his finger over Emilys lips. We stood there for about five minutes till colby had left the porch.
"Okay, he's gone" we all headed back to the Island and discussed how we were going to supprise Colby for his birthday. Emily came up with the idea that we have a surprise party here. I was totally down for that idea. I knew my mom wouldn't care because she would probably be working late that night anyways. We agreed that all day we would act like we forgot his birthday and I would invite him over for the first time. Everyone would be hiding and when I bring him in, well we'll all shout surprise of course. Everyone had been her for a few hours so I put on a pizza, we ate and everyone had left for the night. My mom walked in as Zoe and Emily had pulled out of the drive.
"Flame? Who were thoes?" She didn't sound impressed.
"just some friends I made at school" Her devil eyes turned into angel eyes.
"Good. I'm glad you made friends. Now go to bed or something. I don't want you down here" UGH I hate her some times. I finished my night by writing in my diary.
