Chapter 11

Still Colbys pov
We were all sent home after Flame was taken out of school. They tried ringing her perants but her mom and dad were both at work and couldn't... Well wouldn't leave. The group decided we would all meet at the hospital at 4. I didn't even notice I was covered in Flames blood till I walked through my front door. The school had rang all our parents to let them know we would be coming home and what happend. I walked through my front door and when I saw my mom she had a blood curdling scream. "OH MY GOD COLBY!" She ran up to pull me into a hug but I didn't let her touch me.
"Can I get changed first?" I still had tears running down my cheeks. She nodded her head and I ran upstairs. I changed out of my now blood covered clothes. I put on a black v-neck off white jeans and off white and black snekers. I put on a black Bennie, the one she had pulled off my head before. I wiped the blood off my arms and neck and headed back downstairs. My mom met me at the bottom and pulled me into a hug.
"Baby I'm so sorry. Who did this to her?" she cradled me but I couldn't help but cry.
"I... I D... Don't know..." I rapped my arms around her as she stroked my head.
"When are you going to the hospital?" She knew me too well.
"I'm meeting the others then in half an hour."
"Are her parents there?" I shook my head. "Okay, I'll come. You'll need an adult there." She let go and I looked up and smiled through my tears. I rushed her out of the house and we drove up to the hospital. The car ride was completly silent. When we pulled up at the hospital Zoe Emily and Sam were already inside. When I walked towards them Zoe ran up and pulled me into a hug.
"Where's Jake?" I asked hugging Zoe back.
"Oh I think he's ment to be coming later. Something with his Mom?" Sam said coming over and hugging me too.
"How you holding up?" Emily was smiling at me.
"I've had better days," I smiled back trying to hold back a tear. My mom told us to sit down on the chairs while she went and asked about Flame. We sat there for a few minutes and it felt like someone had just turned on the fosets in my eyes and I felt myself cry.
" Hey, Colby. It's gonna be okay. I know what will make you feel better. Come on let's make some Vines!" He smiled at me enthusiastically and I couldn't help but laugh. I nodded my head and it was a good way to pass the time. The girls got involved too. We were laughing and making joke. As we were filming a vine of a pregnant lady (I know childish) Jake walked in. We gave him a hug and he smiled.
"Look like your all having a good time." He smiled at us and we nodded. "Have we heard anything yet." we looked at eachother and shook our heads. Just as we did my mom walked over.
"So I have good news and bad news." She gestured for us all to sit down. "The good news is she's awake and doing better." We all smiled at eachother. "However... She sustained a head injury and they suspected she may be suffering from mild memory loss." We all fell silent. Memory lost? W... Will she remember us? Oh gosh.
"Can we see her?" I got up out of my chair and walked over to my mom.
"They can sent two of you at a time. So she doesn't feel overloaded." I nodded my head.
"Who wants to come with me."
"I think it's best you go by yourself." Zoe smiled at me and I nodded my head.

My mom told me she was in room 122. I kinda ran through the halls. I want to get to her. When I got to her door I braced myself, if she didn't remember me... I'd have to fall in love all over again... FOCUS Colby! Don't think like that just go in and make sure she's okay. I pushed the door open and there she was, alone sat in her bed looking down at her phone. "Hey...Flame?" she looked up at me and her expression showed confusion.
"I'm sorry... Who are you? The doctor said I might be suffering from memory loss?" My heart sank to the bottom of my chest. She didn't remember me.
"R... Right. Hi my names Colby. I go to school with you, I'm one of your close friends." I sat in the chair beside her bed.
"Colby... Hmm? Sorry I don't remember you, although this was for you? I must have written it." She handed my her phone with the notes open. Then message said.
'Dear Colby, God I'm starting this like my diary. I wanted to tell you that no matter what happens to us... I will always cherish and adore you. You make me happy in so many different ways and I don't think I can imagine a life without you. With that being said you make me happy Cole Brock. You mean the world to me.

Love Flame'

I felt myself tearing up. She cared about me and now she's forgotten me. She looked at me confused.
"Sorry I'm not normally like this..." I wiped away a tear.
"Yes because you're the strong and brave Mr Brock who cares so much when I snatch his bennie off his head!" She reached over and pulled of my Bennie. She burst into laughter. "Do you really think I could of forgotten you Colby? Do you think that LOW of me!" she was laughing so hard she was crying. I started to cry with her.
"How  could you do that to me! I thought you forgot about me!" I pulled her into a tight hug.
"Colby I... Can't breathe!" I let her go and just smiled at her. "The doctor said I may have forgotten things that wasn't important, like where things were. You Mr Brock are one of the most important things in my life, I could never forget you." She smiled and grabbed hold of my hand. We talked for maybe half an hour about what happend but she said she didn't remember much. "Could you send the others in? I wanna do the same thing to them." Her laugh was so adorable, and the way her face lit up everytime she smiled was so cute. I nodded my head and went to get the others.

Flame Young

I couldn't help but smile at the fact he cared so much. More then my parents did, his mom was here instead of mine... That's sad now that I think about it. I could hear people walking out the corridor and I put on the confused girl look. In walked Sam, Zoe and Colby behind them.
"Hey Flame, how are you doing?" Zoe smiled and sat on the end of my bed.
"Yeah, how's your head?" Sam sat on the chair next to me and I looked them both in the eyes and shrugged my shoulders.
"Sorry who are you? Colby said you were my friends but I don't remember you..." Zoe looked over at me completely broken. Colby stood in the corner trying his hardest not to laugh.
"Heh, right I'm Sam and this is Zoe." Sam put out his hand for me to shake.
"Sorry I don't like touching strangers I jus-" I was cut off by the sobbing coming from the end of my bed and I knew I couldn't do it anymore. "Awww Zoe! I could never forget you hun!" I pulled her into a hug and she started laughing. "Come here Sam." I grabbed his arm and pulled him up onto the bed.
"You really had me going there for a sec Flame!" Zoe laughed and hit my hand.
"Okay okay I get it. It was mean but your faces were priceless." Sam smiled over at me and pulled me into another hug. Colby came over and sat on the other side of my bed. I adjusted my pillows to make more room for them to sit down. We talked and talked for what seemed like forever. Then they went to get the other two. Emily and Jake walk into the room. Emily ran towards me and pulled me into a hug.
"I thought you were going to die!" She sobbed onto my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry but who are you both? I don't remember you?" I pushed Emily off my lap and tryed to hold back my laugher. Third time round it's harder to keep a straight face.
"Your laughing, you can't hide that from us Flame." Jake smiled over at me and was laughing.
"JAKE! You ruined itttt!" I couldn't hold it back. I burst out laughing and Emily punched my shoulder.
"Don't you ever do that to us again!" Emily pulled me into another hug. I grabbed Jake by the arm and pulled him up onto the bed. We just sat there and hugged for like ten minutes?
"Do you want me to grab the others?" Colby smiled at me and I nodded my head. They all really did care for me, and I really cared for them. They are my family.
