It was the night before they were all leaving for Florida. Jaycee and Jaylen were loading up Jaycee's car. She had a white range rover they loaded it down with their totes and suitcases. Two streets away at the Barnes household Bucky and the boys were loading down Bucky's Ford Raptor with their totes and suitcases.
The girls pulled in with Natasha's SUV mercedes with her car loaded down with their stuff in the trunk. Natasha came over to them with a walmart bag.
"Here you go boys." She said as she handed each of them a box of condoms.
"Oh thanks Nat..you are such a good best friend." Bucky said in a smart ass tone.
"Welcome." Natasha said
They all got in bed early. The girls crashed at Bucky's house. Jaycee and Jaylen set an alarm with both phones and slept in Jaycee's bed.
The next morning Jaycee and Jaylen were up at 4. They both got dressed and put their bathroom stuff in the car after they were done. They stopped Mcdonalds got them each a coffee and a biscuit. They stopped and got gas and snacks for the road.
Once they hit interstate the boys and the girls were hitting the road after getting breakfast and gas. Jaycee turned on the playlist she made for the trip.
She rolled down the windows and turned up "Fancy" Iggy Alzea. They were singing along and dancing. Bucky plugged in his aux cord and turned on his running the roads playlist.
He turned up "American Woman". Bucky was bobbing his head and shifting gears. Steve saw that Bucky's phone was on silent but he could see his ex blowing up his phone.
"Why is Lindsey blowing up your phone?" Steve said
"Cause I dumped her last night. For a cheerleader she was to much of a goody goody for me. I dont need a good girl." He said
"Buck.." Steve said
"I love sex..and I am having fun just messing around. I dont want any of that love bull shit. Its not for me okay?" He said as he shifted into 3rd gear.
Steve shook his head and looked out his side of the car. Bucky took a sip of his energy drink. Jaycee was in her car as "My girl" by Dylan Scott was playing.
She was singing along as her sister slept some before they switched out. She opened her energy drink and opened her cigarettes.
Bucky was 45 minuted behind her singing "Keep Your Hands to Yourself." He made sure the girls were behind him the whole drive.
And just like Jaycee and Jaylen at the Georgia/South Carolina line. They switched drivers Steve took over as Wanda took over Nat's car.
Jaycee went to sleep about thirty minutes. After another six hour drive they finally arrived in Florida.
