Chapter 1 Underground

Asriel's POV

"Mom can I go play explore outside pleaseee" I ask mom as she and dad where talking "My child I can't go with you your father and I are preparing things to move to the new castle" she said, "I can go alone I promise I won't wander too far mom please" I say and she sighs "Alright my child please just stay close" she said and I nodded quickly running off.
While I was walking through some of the puzzles I heard something fall near the start of the ruins. Curiosity filled me as I went there to see, when I looked it was.....a human! They seem really hurt but they where still breathing so I went to them worried. Upon closer look it's a boy maybe around my age. "Are you okay?" I ask him.

Brody's POV

"Are you okay?" I heard a boy ask me that, I try to look up but ended up whimpering, my head hurts and my body too did I survive that fall?. "Oh no here let me help" he said helping me stand up putting my arm around him I could bearly look but I make out who he was "A monster?" I ask and he looks "Yeah Don't worry human mom amd dad can heal you just lean on me" he said as he started walking with me. 'He seems nice.....I knew those stories of monsters where lies' I thought. "What's your name?" He asked me "My name is...Brody" I said. "Brody. That's a nice name" he said happy "My name is Asriel" he said. We walked for a bit when I heard two voices "Asriel!" They said and he looked at them "Mom Dad please he's really hurt" he said when I felt someone pick me up "poor thing don't worry child we'll treat your wounds" a female voice said holding me in his arms. I felt warm in her arm so I ended up falling asleep.

*Later*

I open my eyes waking up to see I'm in a room a bedroom to be exact I slowly sit up grinting a bit as I look around. I heard the door open "Oh you are awake" it was Asriel. This time I could get a better look he seems to be a goat monster, he was wearing a green sweater and brown pants. He walked to me "You shouldn't get up" he said worried "I'm fine.....thanks" I said "No problem! Hey um can I ask you some questions?" Asriel asks and I nod "sure" I said. "Do humans use magic too?" He asks and I.shake my head no."No....I heard they used to but they lost that ability" I said "hmmm did I use them right?" He asks pointing at some bandages wrapped around my head....well kinda wrapped "Umm yeah kinda you don't use bandages?" I asks "We use magic to heal. We use magic for everything" he said proudly.
"Whattt? You can use magic for everything" I said playfully and he playfully gasp "Yes we can!" He said "No you can!" I said and we pretty much kept saying yes and no for a bit till we both ended up laughing "You are fun to be with" Asriel said "Same" I said. "Asriel!" I hear the same female
Voice said entering "Oh you areawake child I hope my son didn't wake you up" She said, she was a tall goat monster and Asriel's mom wearing a purple robe "No Miss he's fun to be with" I said and she smiled softly "I'm glad child are you feeling better?" She asks and I nodded "Yeah my head just stings a little" I said and she pet me softly "Actually my husband and I wanted to talk with you" she said "Is he awake Tori?" I hear Asriel dad say that as he walk in "Yes he is" She said "Hello child my wife and I wanted to talk with you" he said "You see no one can leave this place. There is a barrier that's keeping us down here" He said. So there's no way back....great "But you could stay with us Child we'll keep you safe" she said petting me more it felt really good "You could even be part of our family if you wanted to" He said and that seem to make Asriel happy "Really? He can be my brother?" Asriel asks excited making them chuckle "That's up to him" He said. So I can't go back so I'm trapped here and I can't be by myself plus they seem really nice plus I Asriel looking at me expectantly. "I would like to be part of your family sir" I said softly making him chuckle "Very well child and no need for sir my name is Asgore and my wife name's Toriel you may call us dad and mom when you are ready" he said and Toriel nodded while Asriel hugged me "Yay!" He said happy as the three of them smiled at me and I smiled back. I felt like I was back at home.

I felt Determined.
