Brody's POV
After saving I kept going foward, even taking different places and grabbed a burnt pan.
As I went through Alphys kept trying to call me or call me when I solved a puzzle.
Eventually I arrived to a completely dark room when I got a call from Alphys "H-hey, it's kind of dark in there, isn't it?" Alphys asked "Don't worry. I'll hack into the light system and brighten it up!" She said and soon the lights camenon and...wait is this a cooking set? "Oh no" Alphys said when Mettaton popped up "OHHH YES!!" Mettaton said "WELCOME, BEAUTIES, TO THE UNDERGROUND'S PREMIER COOKING SHOW!!" He said "AND OUR SPECIAL GUEST THE ONE! THE ONLY! PRINCE BRODY DREEMURR!" Mettaton said 'I'm not that important....' I thought 'You are too hard on yourself' Arsene said "PRE-HEAT YOUR OVENS, BECAUSE WE'VE GOT A VERY SPECIAL RECIPR FOR TODAY!" Mettaton said "WE'RE GOING TO BE MAKING....A CAKE! MY LOVELY GUEST THE PRINCE WILL GATHER THE INGREDIENTS!" Mettaton said and started clapping as confetti falls on me "WE'LL NEED SUGAR, MILK, AND EGGS. GO FOR IT SWEETHEART!" He said.
After getting the ingredients I set them infront of Mettaton "PERFECT! GREAT JOB, STUNNING!" He said "....OH MY! WAIT A MAGNIFICENT MOMENT! HOW COULD I FORGET!!" Mettaton said "WE'RE MISSING THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT!" He said and took out a chainsaw....'wait what?!' I thought "A HUMAN SOUL!!!!!" Mettaton said but he just stood there "OF COURSE THE PRINCE'S SOUL IS FORBIDDEN IN THE ART OF COOKING!" Mettaton said throwing the chainsaw away 'what????' I thought 'Fon't question it' Arsene said. "SO WE'LL USE A SUBSTITUTE! ACTUALLY I HAVE THE SOLUTION! MTT-BRAND ALWAYS-CONVENIENT HUMAN-SOUL-FLAVOR-SUBSTITUTE!" He said 'That's oddly specific' I thought 'What isn't oddly specific with this robot?' Arsene asked "GO ON GET IT PRINCE! IT'S ON THE COUNTER OVER THERE!" He said do I walked over there but soon the counter went down only to raise because of millions of counters stacked under it as a tower "You've gotta be kidding me" I said "BY THE WAY OUR SHOW RUNS ON A STRICT SCHEDULE. NO ONE IS LEAVING THIS ROOM UNTIL THAT RECIPE IS DONE!" Mettaton said "......AND BY NO ONE I MEAN YOU! TOODLES!" Mettaton said flying off "oh no! Don't worry prince Brody I got the solution" Alphys said "When I was upgrading your phone, I added a few...festures" she said "You see that huge button that says...'JETPACK'?" Alphys asks "I do" I said "press it" Alphys said and my phlne turned into a jetpack and got on me 'this is gonna be good' Arsene said chuckling "There you go prince! Good luck!" Alphys said and I fly up.
After dodging some of the ingredients Mettaton threw I reached the top "I got it! Now we can finish the show" I said "ACTUALLY PRINCE. HAVEN'T YOU EVER SEEN A COOKING SHOW BEFORE?" Mettaton asked "I ALREADY BAKED THE CAKE AHEAD OF TIME!!! SO FORGET IT!!!! WELL TODDLES SEE YOU IN THE SHOW!!!!" Mettaton said flying off while I look dumbfounded 'Brody? We need to keep going' Arsene said and I just pushed the can off to the ground and then descend.
After that I walk through andnsee the core in the distance and soon arrive to the elevator and enter going to the next floor. Once I leave I see Sans on a sentry stand and somehow there's snow ontop intact. I walk over to him "Hey Sans" I said "Hey Prince, what's up?" Sans asked "Just being in a show I guess" I said "Oh yeah you were pretty cool in the last two shows of MTT" Sans said "wait how do you?" I asked "Paps, Undyne and I were watching from snowdin. You know it's recorded live right?" He asks "Well...now I know" I said "Anyway kid wanna buy a hot-dog? It's only 30G" Sans said "Sure" I said giving him the 30G "Thanks kid. Here's your 'dog" Sans said " 'dog?" I asked "Yeah 'dog. Apostrophe-dog it's short for hot-dog" he said so I kept buying some more and soon I had my inventory full so Sans stacked them ontop of my head "Welp kid I can't reach any higher. That's enough 'dogs for you" Sans said and I giggle and move and the hot-dogs fall off my head and then move on.
*A few minutes of puzzles, online updates, finding an appron and pairing up two monster guys guards later*
After a long while I find myself in another dark room "Okay I'm back!" Alphys said "A-another dark room huh? Don't worry! M-my hacking skills have got things covered!" Alphys said and turned the lights on and...I'm in a news show..."Are you serious?" Alphys asked "OHHHHH YESSSS!!! GOOD EVENING, BEAUTIES AND GENTLEBEAUTIES!" Mettaton said "THIS IS METTATON, REPORTING LIVE FROM MTT NEWS!" He said "AN INTERESTING SITUATION HAS ARISEN IN EASTERN HOTLAND!" He said "FORTUNATELY OUR SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT THE PRINCE HIMSELF! OH BRAVE PRINCE! PLEASE FIND SOME NEWSWORTHY TO REPORT!" He said "OUR ONE HUNDRED VIEWERS ARE WAITING FOR YOU!!! EVERYONE LOVES YOU!" He said and I just nodded and walked around till I saw a dog "WHAT A SENSATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR A STORY!" Mettaton said "I CAN SEE THE HEADLINE NOW: 'A DOG EXISTS SOMEWHERE'. FRANKLY I"M BLOW AWAY" He said "REPORT THIS ONE?" Mettanton asked and I nodded "ATTENTION VIEWERS! OUR PRINCE HAS FOUND.....A DOG!" Mettaton said "(CUE AUDIENCE AWWS). THAT'S RIGHT FOLKS! IT'S THE FEEL-GOOD STORY OF THE YEAR!" He said "LOOK AT IT'S LITTLE EARS, TINY PAWS, FLUFFY TAIL.....WAIT A SECOND" Mettaton said "THAT'S NOT A TAIL! THAT'S.....A FUSE!!!" He said andnthe dogs tail lit in fire "what?" I asked confused "THAT'S RIGHT....THAT DOG....IS A BOMB!!" Mettaton said "BUT DON'T PANIC! YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THE REST OF THE ROOM YET!!" He said as the carton boards making it look like a studio fall and I see all the objects that are bombs "OH MY! IT SEEMS EVERYTHING IN THIS AREA IS ACTUALLY A BOMB!" Mettaton said "THAT PRESENT'S A BOMB!" He said and the present opens to reveal a bomb inside "THAT BASKETBALL'S A BOMB!" He said and a fuse appears on the basketball "EVEN MY WORDS ARE...!" he said when the words fell and exploded "BRAVE PRINCE.....IF YOU DON'T DEFUSE ALL OF THE BOMBS..." He said going to where a bigger bomb was "THIS BIG BOMB WILL BLOW YOU TO SMITHEREENS IN TWO MINUTES!" He said "THEN YOU WON'T BE REPORTING 'LIVE' ANY LONGER!" He said "HOW TERRIBLE! HOW DISTURBING! OUR 99 VIEWERS ARE GOING TO LOVE WATCH YOU DEFUSED THEM!" He said flying away "D-don't worry! I installed a bomb-defusing program on your phone!" Alphys said "Use the 'defuse' option when the bomb is in the DEFUSE ZONE! N-now, go get them!" Alphys said and I nodded.
