Brody's POV
I left the ruins and started walking down the snowy path I passed by a stick on the floor and I heard it snap when I was ahead of it so I walked a bit faster till I get to a small bridge when I hear a voice behind me "Human" the voice said "Don't you know how to greet a new pal?" He asked "Turn around and shake my hand" he said and I did just that when there was a fart noise "Heheh....the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick" he said, it was a monster skeleton "it's always funny" he said "Anyways. You're a human right?" He asked "that's hilarious. I'm sans. Sans the skeleton" Sans said "Howdy Sans, I'm Brody" I said "Brody? As in prince Brody Dreemurr?" Sans "Yeah" I said nodding "That's why you look so familiar. You match with every monster in the underground's description of you" He said "I would question how you are alive. But I'm not a picky guy so I'll take your word for it" Sans said "I'm supposed to be on watch for humans. But you are an exception. Doubt the king would want his son's sou. Even then I don't really care about capturing anybody" Sans said "My brother papyrus on the other hand, he is a human-hunting fanatic. But don't get confused he's a cool guy and probably won't capture you anyway" Sans said 'Are you gonna say something?' Arsene asked 'What do you want me to say? Besides he's explaining' I said in my head to which Arsene rolls his eyes "Actually I think I see him. Got an idea follow me kid" Sans said holding my hand guiding me through the bridge and I see a sentry station and a lamp.......that's shaped like me huh 'Your guess is as good as mine' Arsene said "quick behind that conveniently-shaped lamp" Sans said and I hid there when a taller Skeleton stood infront of Sans "Sup bro?" Sans asked "You know what sup' brother!" Papyrus said "It's been eight days and you still haven't recalibrated. Your. Puzzles!" Papyrus said "You just hang around outside your station!" Papyrus said "What are you even doing?!?" He asked "staring at this lamp, it's really cool. Do you wanna look?" Sans asked "No!! I don't have time for that!!" Papyrus said "What if a human comes through here?!?" He asked "I want to be ready!!!" Papyrus said 'Does this guy not hear or something?' Arsene said annoyed by the constant yelling 'I think it's just his way of be' I said You are too forgiving' Arsene said "I will be the one! I must be the one! I will capture a human! Then, I the great Papyrus....Will get all the things I utterly deserve! Papyrus said " Respect....Recognition....I will finally be able to join the royal guard" Papyrus said 'The royal guard. Wonder if Gerson stayed in waterfall' I said 'Think about that later' Arsene said "People will ask, to be my 'Friend?' " Papyrus said "I will bathe in a shower of kisses every morning" Papyrus said "Hmmm...well the lamp-" "I don't care about the lamp Sans!" Papyrus said "You lazybones! All you do is sit and Boondoggle! Papyrus said 'The Fu-Frick is he talking about' Arsene said "You get lazier and lazier every day!!!" Papyrus said "Hey take it easy bro. I've got a ton of work done today. A skele-ton" Sans said and I snicker "Sans!!" Papyrus said "come on you're smiling" Sans said "I am and I hate it...*sigh* why does someone as great as me. Have to do so much to get some recognition..." Papyrus said "Wow, sounds like you're really working yourself.....down to the bone" Sans said and I bite my lip to not laugh 'so Your sense of humir died too' Arsene said annoyed "Ugh! I will attend to my puzzles....as for your work?, Put a little more 'Backbone' into it!!!" Papyrus said 'Oh for the love of god' Arsene said facepalming "Nyeheheheeheheehehehee" Papyrus said laughing as he left.
"Okay. Coast is clear pronce" Sans said as I walked out of hiding "You oughta get going now kid. Sure you have somewhere to be" Sans said "Yes" I said as I walked ahead but Sans stops me "Actually. Hey... Hate to bother ya prince but could you do me a favor?" Sans asked "Yeah sure" I said "I was thinking my brother's been kind of down lately" Sans said "He's never seen a human before, could you play with him and do his puzzles?" Sans asked "Sure" I said smiling "Neat. See you ahead" Sans said and I nodded and kept walking seeing another save point so I saved and continued foward.
A bit later I find Sans and Papyrus....wait how did Sans got here before me? "So As I wad saying about Undyne" Papyrus said as he noticed me and they started looking back and forth and they whisper to each other before looking back at me "Human! I mean Prince Brody! I the great Papyrus would be honored if you helped test my puzzles" Papyrus said "I would love to" I said and Papyrus runs off saying Nyehehe "Thanks kid and Don't worry I got you covered" Sans said going after him.
After some more walking I come across Doggo's station! "Hey Doggo! Are you there?" I asked excited as he peeks out "Hm? That voice! Prince Brody?" Doggo asked looking around and I nodded waving my arms "Yeah it's me!" I said as Doggo picked me up and licks my face happy "It's you! But how?" He asked and I laugh "I-Ihaah" I said as he stopped "No matter. What matters is your back" he said and I smile petting him making him happy "Hey Doggo could you do something for me?" I asked and he nodded setting me down "At your service" he said "Could you tell the other dogs and everyone at snowdin that I'm back?" I asked "At once!" Doggo said running off and I chuckle
*Later*
After some puzzle solving with Papyrus and Sans, as well as meeting the other dogs of the dog unit again and be given lots of happy licks I finally arrived to Snowdin to see a lot of monsters gathered up and when they saw me they all hugged me amd all hapoy cheer for my return, truth be told it was really happy to be back here and see everyone remembers me still, even grillby made me lunch and when the conmotion calmed down I went to the save point in snowdin cause later I would have to meet Papyrus outside snowdin but before that I would see around snowdin since it's been so long but first.
*Being reunited with all the friends you made in snowdin and the thought of making more fills you with determination.
