Chapter 5 Papyrus and waterfall

Brody's POV

I made my way to the start of waterfall and Papyrus was waiting for me "Human Prince. I the great Papyrus have been thinking if you go to waterfall...undyne may not believe you" Papyrus said "She's the captain of the royal guard. Sans said that convincing you to stay wouldn't work but I want to prepare you. That's why I the great Papyrus will spar with you" Papyrus said as the world turns black.

*Papyrus blocks the way

The first thing I tried was what worked with mom so I hit Mercy "So you don't to attack. Very well let's see how you fare with my blue attack!" Papyrus said, Sans told me about this so as the blue bones made their way at me and I stay still and it worked but then my soul turn blue and I got hit by a normal "Wowie, you didn't told me you were magic too Human Prince" Papyrus said 'What is he talking about?' I asked Arsene 'Look at yourself genius' Arsene said and when I looked amd widen my eyes, my normal clothes are beneath a blue light outfit of sorts, I had a blue sweater, blue pants and blue shoes, I looked over at the water and gasped my irises turned blue "Hmmm your stats seem to change too" Papyrus said and as I look over they did, now my defense was a bit lower, m attack remain the same but now I had another stat, 'Speed' "You are full of suprises Human Brody. This may be a short training after" Papyrus said and as he threw more bone attacks at me I could jump higher than normal and also move at a greater speed than anyone human could. Soon enough Papyrus spared me seeing like I convinced him with this thing and when the battle all the blue vanished and I had my normal stats and the speed stat dissapeared "Well human Brody, I say you'll be more than capable to go past undyne" Papyrus said "Oh here so you can always talk to your friend Papyrus" he said telling me his phone number so I added him as he left to go to snowdin and I made my way to waterfall.

*At waterfall*

Sans and I talked a bit before he let me continue, he mostly was making sure I'm okay, as I go to a tall grassy path I stop hearing something and look up seeing Papyrus and an armor? Maybe it's Undyne "H-Hi Undyne! I'm here with m daily report" Papyrus said "Uhhhh...regarding that Human I called you about. It's a false alarm it's the human Prince Brody" Papyrus said but Undyne looked at him does she not believe it 'Heh she's never meet you in person how do you expect her to believe her? Sans and Papyrus did because of how snowdin reacted' Arsene said "huh? He's lying? No Undyne I can assure you that he's-" Papyrus said but stopped when she said something to him I can't quite make out what it is "Un-dyne you don't have to destroy him. If you just let him explain...." Papyrus said ".....I understand" he said and left 'Might be a good idea to leave' Arsene said and I took a step but stepped on a branch 'Nice going' Arsene said rolling his eyes 'I can't see anything with all the grass' I said as I see Undyne holding a spear but made it vanish and left and I sigh in relief and walknout the grass when I see the same kid from snowdin behind me "Yo....did you the way she was taring at you....? Like you did something horrible to her?" He said "That.....was Awesome!" He said confusing me "She must have seen you and already wanted to make a good impression for you Prince Brody" he said 'Heh yeah that's what she was doing' Arsene said chuckling "I'm monster kid! But you can just call me MK if you want" MK said "Nice to meet you" I said smiling "H-hey. I know you are the prince but could I tag with you? I'm sure we'll find Undyne" MK said "Yeah sure" I said "Thanks! Lead the way Prince-" "You can just call me Brody" I said smilig "Oh well lead the way Brody" he said and I nodded.

*Later*

MK and I made our way thriugh waterfall talking and chatting, I ocassionaly catch glimpses of Undyne hidding, she wanted to attack me but I  think she's worried hurting MK "Oh look it's a temmie" MK said "Hmm I always wanted to pet one but....I can't without arms" He said a bit sad and I thought something so I walked behind him and put my arms where his should be and I pet temmie making MK giggle and smile "Aw thanks Brody!" MK said happy and I nodded as we procedded foward.

Soon MK and I had to go through a corridor with rain so I grab and umbrella and use it as we walk "Thanks for letting me come with you. It's been loads of fun" MK said "No problem" I said till we came to a ledge and I put the umbrella away "Hmm...hey Brody you wanna see undyne right?" MK asked and I nodded "Then climb on my shoulders" he said "is that okay?" I asked worried "Don't worry. Youhelped me enough I wanna help now" he said kneeling down and I climb on his shoulders getting on the ledge "Okay no go on ahead" MK said "Wait what about you?" I asked "Don't worry about mw. I always find a way" MK said and walked away smiling 'You are so dead' Arsene said to me 'I just want to talk with her' I said 'Look she's just as stubborn as you are you won't be able to talk your way out of it' He said and I sigh and move foward and sure enough Undyne chased me summoning spears to hit me till I arrive at a dead end and Undyne breaks the bridge in half and I fall down.

"It sounds like it came from over here" Asriel said "Are you okay?" He asked "Here, get up......Brody? That's a nice name" he said "My name is...."

'Hey wake up' Arsene said and I groan sitting up rubbing my head 'You sure have luck with falls huh?' He asked and I stood up "Maybe" I said "Oh it's the trash zone" I said 'Yup. Can you move?' Arsene asked "Yeah" I said and started walking till I see mad dummy "Oh hey mad dummy" I said "Prince Brody? What a suprise........don't say I'm slacking off" he said leaving "What...?" I asked confused when Napstablook appeared "Oh.......it's you prince Brody" he said "Hi" I said smiling "Well.....I'm going to head home now.." he said ".....you can 'Come with' if you want" Napstablook said floating away and I followed him "My house is up here...." He said going to the middle path and when he left I press the save point. I'm almost out of waterfall but that means I'll hae to think what to do with undyne.

*You feel a calming tranquility. You're filled with determination.
