Chapter 11 The True Lab

Brody's POV

As I started to make my way out of the garbage dump my phone rang "Howdy! If it isn't my good friend who trusts me" Papyrus said "This is Papyrus. Your also mutual friend. Alphys and I finished our training early, very early. So I sent her home" Papyrus said "very home. Uh...now. I feel strongly and for no apparent reason. You should also go.....there. To her lab....house. I have only good feelings about this. Goodbye" Papyrus said hanging up'Odd' I thought but then decided to go to her lab anyway.

*Later at Alphys Lab*

As I entered I found Alphys nowhere to be seen as I see a note  on the floor and when I got closer the door to what I thought was the bathroom opened and it was an elevator but first I picked up the note and read it "Hey. Thanks for your help back there Prince, you guys....your support really means a lot to me. But.....as difficult as it is to say this.....you guys alone can't magically make my own problems go away. I want to be a better person. I don't want to be afraid anymore. And for that to happen, I have to be able to face my own mistakes. I'm going to start doing that now. I want to be clear. This isn't anyone else's problem but mine. But if you don't ever hear from me again.... If you want to know 'The truth'. Enter the door yo the north of this note. You all at least deserve to know what I did." That's all she wrote so I decided to enter the elevator and start heading down.

Soon I hear an alarm "WARNING! WARNING! ELEVATOR LOSING POWER! EM TETHER STABILITY LOST! ALTITUDE DROPPING!" It's all I heard as the elevator crashed I bearly managed to stay still and the doors opened and I stepped out I was in like an abandoned lab, I saw few screens with lab entries talking about a project with monsters souls and determination.

Soon I see a door infront of me locked and a vending machine so I bought some potato chips, the door was locked so I went to the left.

This place is scary and creepy, I found some operation tables but they were all sticky and I turned the three sinks on but the last one dripped a white substance with a smile but soon turned into an amalgamation attacking me.

It was three glitchy things? I don't know! I decided to act and take out my phone and I hear voices through the receiver "Come join the fun" it said and after their turn I went to act they are called memoryhead  but I refused to join them and I was able to spare them.

They dissapear and left a red key, so I took it and put it in my keychain and went downstairs and found where to put the red key so I put it there and moved on.

There were more entries, are these from Alphys? I soon entered a room full of beds and found one oddly tucked so I pulled down the sheets and find a yellow key so I take it, I read another entry talking about using determination on fallen monsters and it worked 'I don't get it' I said to Arsene 'what don't you get?' He asked 'This is Alphys lab but I don't know being makes me feel like this belonged to someone else' I said 'This is all from Alphys......right?' Arsene asked even he seemed unsure regardless we went downstairs and went left reading more entries it seemed it worked but the next one said no a lot, we then went downstairs to find a bathtub with the curtains over with a tentacle moving and for some reason I walked slow as it swayed and when I got close and moved the curtains....it's gone. In it's place a green key was there so I tokked it and went back to the hallway.

As I went further left there was a savepoint and a weird looking machine first I went down and found a tv and two shelves a lab entry and the green slot so I put the green key there and read the entry, it says she wanted to research more of humans and found tapes in the castle "Wait..those tapes are..." I said  'let's keep going' Arsene said "No" I said and walked to the Vhs player and put the first tape in

"Psssst. Gorey ,wake up" Toriel said "mmm? What is it dear?" Asgore asked "...err, and why do you have that video camera?" He asked "shush! I want to get your reaction. Gorey, dearest. Waht is my favorite vegetable?" Toriel asked "Hmm...Carrots, right?" Asgore asked "No no no! My favorite vegetable is....Eda-MOM-e" Toriel said "....get it???" She asked ".....go back to bed, dear" Asgore said "No no!! Not yet! Hee hee. Now, if I were a dog what breed of dog would I be?" Toriel asked "Hmm.....I don't know, honey. What kind of dog would you be?" Asgore asked "I would be.....A MOMERANIAN" Toriel said "hohoho! You sure are excited to have this child. You know if you keep makig jokes like this....one day, you could be....a famous MOMmedian" Asgore said "...well I am going to bed" Toriel said "Hey! Come on, Tori! That one was funny!" Asgore said "hahaha, I know. I am just teasing you. Goodnight dear" Toriel said "Goodnight, honey" Asgore said "...Oh dwar, perhaps it is too dark in here for the video to come out.." Toriel said
