~17~ my parents arent home

Bakugos POV

I had the little kitten in my arms. I just realized. how would my parents react to see this thing?! and a girl this late?!! this is fucking stupid. I didnt think this through... I couldn't say no to that damn smile of hers. GAAHHHH!! I HATE THIS!! shes just a friend. control yourself. sure its late and shes coming over. who cares. shes helping me with this damn cat. they better beilive me when I tell them-

"hey theres no car. are you sure there home?" she stopped and looked over at me. I just realized she had been carrying those bags all the way back here. she had just set them on the ground. I noticed her arms where red.

"are you ok? your arms look all red." I held the cat in one arm and was holding her wrist. Damn. im a really poor excuse of a man to let her carry those things all the way here.

"oh. yeah im fine. those are just from training and stuff. but are we locked out here?"

I looked in my pockets and realized they gave me the key and told me that they wouldnt be home until tomorrow. ok. that's a lot less to worry about right now. "yeah ive got the key. no worries my parents aren't home.-" oh.. shit.. I said that OUT LOUD!! DAMN IT ALL!!! (F/N; phew.. I dont have to meet them yet.)

"no worries! I know what you mean. lets just go inside. im freezing." she reacted a lot more calmly then I thought she would. I didnt mean it like that. I wasn't some weirdo. we got inside and I let the cat- I mean mittens down. she smelled around the place while we were taking our shoes off. I took her bags and set them on the table. damn she loves to shop.

"oh sorry. I could have got those. there for my mum. she needed me to get "a few" things." she walked in the door way. looking up and down. "wow nice place." (F/N on the inside: OMG OMG OMG!! IM IN BAKUGOS HOUSE!! EEEEEEE!!)

"thanks. I suppose it works. now what should we start with?" I asked. I have no fucking clue how to take care of a cat.

"lets start with a bath. I think just a little dish soap should work for now, just to help get the dirt out. I can help you later getting some flee meds and cat food. for now lets just get her clean and a bed to start with." she said. I showed her to the bath room and she started doing everything up. the bath was ready. now time for the cat. she picked up mittens and handed her over to me. "now. this is where it gets messy. I hate for you to do this but your stronger than me and she likes you more. we gotta get her in the bath."

"alright. cat. its time for you to get damn clean." I said jokingly to the mittens. I took her into the bathroom and she looked confused. I tried slowly putting her in the water. she seemed fine I have no idea what F/N was talking about.-

*splash blub blub* the cats legs went numb and her muzzle was in the water. she went over quickly and picked her up on her feet again. "you dumby! stand in the tub." she started laughing while I sat there doing nothing. I joined her as well. we were both playing with mittens with the bubbles and splashing around. I didnt know she liked water. we got her all cleaned up and gave her a towel. rolled her up like a burrito and set her on the couch to dry off.

"man im soaked! darn cat." F/N said as she picked at her wet shirt.

"same here. ill go get us some dry ones." I said before going to my room. is it weird that im giving her one? nah. she's just wet and I dont want her to get sick. I took off my wet shirt and put a new one on. I took one out of the dresser that seemed small enough. "here F/N, try this for now." I tossed it at her.

"oh thanks! yeah ill go get changed. be back in a minute." she said before walking away. I took a seat on the couch with mittens and looked down at the floor. what did I think about this stupid girl anyway. I couldn't keep lying to myself about her just being a friend. if she really was just a friend to me I wouldnt have to keep telling myself to think that. so maybes theres more to it. "I think she might like you Bakugo. what will you say?" kirishima's question ran through my head.

"*sigh...* what will I say?..."I mubbled thinking aloud to myself. mittens came over and curled up on my lap.

"mew~"

"I dont know about her.. you dumb cat. or is it me whos dumb..? I cant figure out a simple question." the words just kept coming out. I couldn't stop my thoughts about her-

"all done!" F/N said standing in the hall way where I could see her. she had that same bright smile on her face. even that small shirt I gave her doesn't fit. but I mean she does look kind of cute- NO NO NO DAMN IT!!! im not falling for a loser like her. she walked over and sat beside me. she reached her hand out and pet the mittens, who was sitting in my lap. I chuckled a little at the sight.

"well I guess I should be going.. I can come over to help you with her more tomorrow if you like." F/N said walking out to the kitchen. something told me not to let her leave. I wanted her to stay. no.

"oh.. umm.. my mom is already asleep and the house is locked up. s-she told me just to stay overnight." I spoke to soon...

A/N: OH LA LA!!im just kidding. I really wanted to do this part for a long time so im glad I got it almost done. turned out way better than I planned. hope you enjoyed as much as I did writing it. and I also liked how this chapter is all just Bakugo's POV. since I didnt use his a lot. F/N's POV will be more in the next chapter I think. well see. good bye for noW!
