F/N POV

after the students left for the day I was on my way back to the library to return the books from class. Bakugos yelling kept running through my head. causing me to blush a little. I shook my head side to side, tapping my cheeks. no,no,no! he declined me! then why did he ask me to meet him?! is he TRYING to hurt me more?! I slammed the books on the table. the librarian glared at me. I waved awkwardly in apology. I stormed my way back out of the library back to the class. all the while my heart being broken then glued together again and again. I put away the remaining chairs, cleaned the chalk board and took a seat on an empty desk. the curtains blowing around the room, as my eyes wandered the now clear sky.

"Oh shoot! I gotta get home!" I grabbed my bag and locked the classroom door. I ran down the hall by aizawa sensei. he waved the clipboard he was holding my way. I smiled and nodded continuing on. after that. I knew what I was going to do.

Bakugo POV

I hate this feeling. like Im going to throw up, but im happy..? fuck emotions. I sighed looking down at my watch. my feet just started moving on there own. running home. the cool air whipping in my face, my teeth clenched. I slammed open the door panting. The cat ran over to me as soon as I walked in.

"KATSUKI! what did I say about slamming that damn door?!" the old hag yelled at me. I didnt reply, just taking my shoes off and walking to my room. the kitten following me.

"sorry." I muttered. the women stood in awe. damn I must be getting soft, I blame F/N for that one. ever since I met her I felt off. nothing was as it used to be. id catch myself questioning so many things. is it right? was that wrong? what should I do? so many god damn questions! I flopped on my bed glancing out the window. all this time ive been wasting. its been for this moment. I hope he shows up. it was so fucking wrong to yell at her like I did. to a girl being that generous to me. I sat up sighing.

"Mew~?" mittens pawed at my ankles. with a almost tender look on her little face.

"Yeah yeah. ill go. now ill go clean up." I replied to the kitten. petting her on the head. I smile came across my face.

F/N POV

"I wont be long mom. just meeting up for a bit. besides. its a school night. love you!" I yelped as I ran out the door.

"be safe dear! love you too!" mum yelled back before I was gone to far. it was about 6:55 when I left. I should be there in time. I hope. what in the? why are there so many people here on a school night? I tried to spot Katsuki in the crowd of people. he must be closer to the water. I looked down at my phone for the time. it was already 7! oh crap. I hope he doesn't think I made it. I was looking up and ended up bumping into a small child holding an ice cream. the ice cream rubbing into my skirt.

"Oh dear! im sorry little one. are you ok?" I asked the little boy. when I bent down to look at him, his eyes reminded me of Bakugos.

"I-im sorry miss. to ruin your pitty dress." he sniffled through his words. I was a little upset, but it was no biggie.

"its alright. it was my fault for not looking. where's your mommy or daddy?" I asked him patting him on the head.

"they waiting in a line. for a store." he sniffled again. I took his tiny hand.

"how about we get you another ice cream? then ill take you to your mommy and daddy." I smiled. the kid nodded back with a huge grin.

Bakugo POV

Its almost 7;30 maybe she decided not to show up. not that I blame her. I yelled at her. tore her down. that was so low of me. the ONE person I loved- I hurt. like everyone else. I deserve to be alone. I looked into the Lessing crowd of people. I thought I had been dreaming. F/N?

"Katsuki!" she yelled waving her hand around. " s-sorry there was this kid. he lost his parents. he wanted some more ice cream. he bumped into me with it while I was looking for you and I-!"

I lost control and gave her a hug. I was so happy to see her show up.

"s-sorry. now I wanted to apologize. all those fucking things I said, none where true." I muttered. I finally looked up at her. she was in shock. so was I. her beautiful H/C H/L blowing in the wind. her eyes filled with curiosity and wonder. her skirt lightly blowing in the ocean breeze. I didnt have the guts to look at her. I stared back at the ground. my face feeling warmer. my hands sweaty.

"l-look here dumbass. ever since I met you my world seemed to.. change. in a good way. bringing a smile to my face everyday. even helping me raise a kitten. I know its only been a month or two since we met. but I dont know what I would do without you F/N. that evening we spent together taking care of the kitten. you staying over. it was.. fun. so... would you do more things like that. with me? wait. god fucking damnit. what I mean is. will you date me d-dumbass." I stuttered out. I didnt exactly have a plan here what to say. so I pretty much said it bluntly. I looked up at her, her face bright red. tear welling up in her eyes. holding her hands tightly together.

"woah, d-dont cry idiot. your making a scene!" I started panicking.

"of course you d-dumby! you didnt have to yell at me when I confessed." F/N chuckled hugging me. I held her waist. she kissed me on the cheek.

"w-what the hell was that?! you fucker! we just start dating and you kiss me?!" I yelled, but not letting her go. I couldn't. she just laughed. we walked along the board walk as the sun was setting. one of the best memories ive had so far...

A/N: I hope you enjoyed my Bakugo X reader hidden flame!! this was the first x reader ive ever finished. of course I have many on the go. but this is my first finished piece. funny. I dont even like Bakugo all that much. I mostly made this for a friend.
