~23~Dinner

f/N POV

Bakugo and I started walking back to his place. I started feeling more comfortable around him and his family. like my home away from home. I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that Bakugos dad was so sweet. Bakugo was caring all of the bags from the pet store as I explained about hoe to take care of them. my dad and I got a cat once we both cared for so much. my mom wasn't a fan. but ill always hold that memory. we went back inside the house and it was around supper time. my stomach growled as we stood in the door way.

"oh dear you must be starving. I'm making dinner now, you can stay if you'd like." Katsuki s mom smiled as she seen us walk inside. Bakugo slamming the pet store bags on the table. Mittens jumped up on the chair and sniffed at them. "thank you for helping my stubborn son out."

"it was no problem. thank you for the invite, I would love to stay if your ok with it." I chuckled awkwardly.

"here lets get you set up." Bakugo said while patting mittens on the head. he started unpacking the items first, showing her all of the toys as he took them out. of course I was helping. lastly he took out the bowl and showed her the collar. He put it on her as the kitten looked up at him in awe. we played with the cat while his mum made dinner. then his dad came home.

"wow, ive never seen Bakugo like that with anyone." He chuckled to his wife as he walked into the kitchen. she nodded her head and smiled over to us. we all sat around the dinner table and enjoyed the fresh cooked food. who knew she was such a good cook. after having dinner I helped wash the dishes and it was time for me to go back home. we said our goodbyes and off I went.

Bakugo POV

After F/N left I had some thinking to do. every time is aw her smile I felt my chest get all fluttery. a hero such as myself should not feel like this. so why? Maybe I should stay away from her. to keep her safe to. she needs someone better than me, ive seen those eyes before. blinded my love. god.. for onc I think I felt the same way. what the hell was this?! I'm no softy. I growled smashing my fists onto the desk. I need more time.

The next two days of school were normal. I stayed my distance, she just hung out with her usual friends. I didnt mind. she needed to have a better friend than me. I wasn't what she wanted.
