Uraraka awoke with a start and shot up. Immediately regretting it as stars blotted her vision. They soon disappeared and she looked around.
Bakugou was on the floor next to her, head tilted back and a heavy snore sounding from the back of his throat. One of his hands was under his shirt, and the other was resting on her thigh.

She tried to pry away, but he pulled her closer like a cuddle doll and slipped his hand higher. She gasped and shoved him away.
"Ochako..."
He complained, still asleep, and hugged her against him. She grumbled and elbowed him in the ribs. He moaned and rolled over onto his other side, curling in on himself. She got up with a groan and dragged herself to the small box they'd acquired. Only two small cubes were inside, so she ate one and took a gulp from the bottle of water. Walking over to Bakugou she kicked at his bare feet.
"Bakugou...Bakugou, wake up"
He moaned and readjusted his head resting on his arm. She sighed and swung her foot for his ass, hitting home.

His eyes snapped open and he shot up into a sitting position with a fire in his eyes.
"What?!"
He screamed.
"Eat!"
She yelled back, and threw the cube at him. He caught it and eyed her weirdly.
"You yelled back, how come?"
She scoffed and tilted her head back to stare at the ceiling.
"Because you're my ex, that's why. Happy? Now eat, we'll have to scout again later"
He grumbled and ate his cube, snatching the bottle when she held it out to him. She screwed up her face at his behaviour, and he narrowed his eyes at her.
"What?"
"Distasteful"
She said, and turned on her heel. He made a sound like there was a boiling frustration building in his chest and stood up.
"What's up your ass?"
She chewed on the inside of her cheek and peered out the window into the hallway.

He didn't appreciate being given the silent treatment.
"Oi! Listen to me when I'm talkin' to you!"
She spun around and held her arms straight at her sides, her hands in fists.
"What?!"
"I said, what's up your ass?!"
She pointed a finger at him and spread her feet.
"You! You are up my ass!"
He turned his head to the side with a wolffish grin and she felt her shoulders shake.
"Oh- shut up! You know what I mean!"
"Oh, do I?"
"Yes, you do!"
He propped himself against the wall and stared at her with tired eyes.
"Uraraka, I'm too tired for this shit-"
"You weren't too tired to grope me before!"
A crease formed between his brows and he crossed his arms.
"What are you talking about?"
"Literally thirty seconds ago you had your hand between my legs and wouldn't let go!"
He arched a blond brow.
"...and, that's what made you all snappy and bitchy?"
Her eyes narrowed to slits.
"Let me think of an answer while I ignore you"
He clicked his tongue and sat back down.
"Fine, then I'm going back to sleep"

She lifted her chin.
"Fine. Stay here, I'll go out and look for something else to help"
He huffed and ruffled his hair so that it covered his eyes as he sunk back against the wall.
"I melted that shit to its core, good luck getting out"
She waltzed over to the door.
"I don't need your pity luck"
He huffed a laugh and watched her as she pulled at the melted lock. Frustrated, she kicked at it until the wood around it splintered and broke, causing it to fall to the floor on the other side.
"The fuck ochako! You just broke the lock!"
She shrugged and stepped out the swinging door.

To her expectations Bakugou stayed in the room as she went walking. There was no scattering in the walls. There was no voices. There was nothing.
"Ochako.."
she spun around at the whisper of her name, but nothing was there. She steeled herself with a deep breath and turned back around.
Come on, Ochako. It was nothing. Start acting like a hero.
She turned and was met with a pair of eyes so close their eyelashes touched. She began shaking when the person gripped her so hard her bones ached and whined.
"O-Otosan..."
She whimpered. Her father smiled wickedly.
"Ochako, what did I tell you? That boy is bad news.."
"W-What are you doing here?"
His lips pulled back from his teeth in a feral smile. They were metal. Gleaming, cold metal. So where his eyes and skin and hair. He was mechanical.
But that voice...
It was him. It was his voice. It had to be. She trembled from how tight he was gripping her.
"No more hero work for you, my little girl"
He said, and went to snap her arms in half. But she acted quicker. She shoved him backwards by his stomach and brought her arms up. She activated her quirk. His body slammed into the roof in a quick movement. The sound of bending iron filled her ears.

With a burn in her arms and eyes she used her quirk to hurtle his body into the glass window, and he slammed into whatever was beyond that. His neck detached at the shoulders slightly, and she took her chance.
She leaped onto him and ripped his head off, snapping the wires holding him together. His body crumpled to the ground, and a liquid terrifyingly like blood spilled from him.
She fumbled backwards with the oily red substance sticking to her. She went to get up and slipped, falling back down. He even had on the same clothes as her father...

She kept scrambling backwards until she ran into something, and she looked up. A hand gripped into her hair so hard she felt a few strands snap out. A mechanical version of her mother stared at her with cold eyes and sneered.
"I always knew you'd disappoint me. I always knew."
Uraraka felt her feet dangling, moving to touch the floor. She gasped for air and tried to pry her hair free. Her mother began speaking again, but she didn't hear it, refused to, and wrapped her legs around her mothers waist instead.
With a muffled cry she swung them both crashing to the ground and shot to her feet. Before the machine could react she lifted her leg into the air and swung her foot down so hard that she completely crushed her mothers neck. She was grateful she had her boots on, or she would've broken her foot.
The machine died with a gurgling sound and spasmed, spitting out more of the red oil from everywhere. It splatted all over uraraka's face and suit. She stepped back and heaved in breaths. Her lungs were screaming and a headache pounded at her skull.

It must have been seconds, but it felt like an eternity as she stared down at the fake versions of her parents that she'd killed. She only looked up when she heard footsteps.
Bakugou walked towards her, the iron heads of his parents in his hands. He tossed them to the ground at her feet and examined her false parents' bodies on the floor.
"I think we should find another classroom"
He said, and she nodded briefly. He was covered in the ichor too, and it reeked of metal and a particular tang. Before they left they gathered their gear and searched the bodies of the robots they'd killed. They found more food in the heads, and more water in each of the robot's chests. They moved to the classroom at the other end of the building and locked themselves in again, waiting.
