The private bar was set behind a pair of large double doors carved of old wood, rich and strong. A waitress opened one door for the girls as they walked past, and the inside of the next room set Uraraka's heart beating quickly.
A bar was set into the left side of the room, and a great fireplace was set into the right. A few long lounges and chaises were set against the walls, and the rest of the floor was open for mingling. The bar was a bench of polished marble in front of stacks upon stacks of glass bottles of alcohol. Behind the bar were two waiters, polite smiles on their faces. They both seemed to recognise Momo. She hurried up to them with a smile.
"Evening, gentlemen"
One bowed lightly.
"Ms. Yaoyorozu, it's a pleasure. What can I get you tonight?"
She looked back at her friends briefly.
"Is it true that each of us is only permitted two drinks of choice each? Because, as you know, we are of ageing consent..."
The waiter smiled, placing his hands behind his back.
"Ms. Yaoyorozu, this is the private bar, you are permitted to as many beverages you and your lovely friends desire. Bosses orders"
She smiled dazzlingly, and beckoned her group over. They all came over together straight away.
Within a minute everyone had a drink, and Uraraka spent a few seconds staring at hers. It was pink at the bottom and clear at the top, sprinkles around the rim of the glass. A cocktail, she guessed. She took a sip and was overwhelmed with bitterness and sour, then something sugary sweet. She set it down at the bar and sat down, smiling at her friends. Mina came over to her, holding something blue and red.
"How's yours?"
She asked.
Uraraka smiled widely.
"Sour and bitter and sweet"Mina winked mischievously and plunked a straw into her long glass.
"Sounds like someone I know~"
"What on earth- oh, you can't mean-"
"A certain Bad Booming Blonde? You bet I am!"
Uraraka shook her head with a smile and took another sip of the drink.
"You're unbelievable, Mina"
"Hehe, I know"
Uraraka took in what Mina was wearing, and smiled inwardly. A black pair of black tight jeans and a red leather jacket, zipped closed. Bright red high heeled boots too, also red. Uraraka tipped her head to the side dramatically.
"I can't help but think you're throwing out a line for a very certain fish tonight"
Mina smiled, showing her teeth.
"That's right, I'm a Red Riot fisherman now, and I intend to catch a prize tonight"
"Good luck"
She said, smiling supportingly. Just as Momo sat down next to them a waiter approached her.
"Ms. Yaoyorozu, a Mr. Todoroki is here to see you, and he has a company with him"
She smiled quickly and set her drink down.
"Oh- yes, yes! He's part of my party tonight, please bring him in"
The waiter nodded and sped off to the doors, opening one wide. Todoroki walked in, dressed casual-fancy, and was followed by the rest of the boys. Uraraka noticed Midoriya first, dressed in long black pants and a dark green button up shirt, sporting his usual red shoes. Next, she saw Bakugou.
He walked in like he owned the place, his head held high and his hair messed and spiked upwards. He wore worn dark jeans, and light brown work boots with thick soles and laces. He wore a vibrant red button up shirt, one pocket on the left side of his chest. He locked eyes with her after she'd finished looking at him, and she blushed madly when he greedily took in what she was wearing.Midoriya waved her over and went to run up to her, but Bakugou roughly yanked his collar backwards and nearly sent him to his ass on the floor. Uraraka got up with a worried frown and hurried over. Bakugou smiled like he expected her to stop in front of him, but she went to Midoriya's side and asked if he were okay. He smiled and nodded, asking her if she'd like a drink.
As they made their way back to the bar, she couldn't help but feel as though two eyes were burning holes into the back of her head. She and Midoriya had both finished five strong drinks each by the time they decided to get up, wanting to dance. She suspected the alcohol was getting to her, because she was getting dizzy easy and found it hard to focus on one thing. But she was fine, she was sure of it! Midoriya swung her around and dipped her, sending her smile blooming. They danced like idiots together, taking on the style of American Swing dance. Only tipsy, she thought, would she ever do this.
Her heart was pounding and adrenaline was raging through her veins, and she couldn't help but laugh as she and Midoriya danced their little fun dance.Bakugou looked up from where he was sitting at the bar at the sound of laughing. And wished he hadn't.
There she was, dancing and laughing and having the time of her life, but not with him. With that damn nerd.
They swung around each other in a blur of legs and arms expertly moving to the fast beat, as if they'd rehearsed it a thousand times.
Who the fuck just knows how to swing dance? And with a damn partner! The fuck!
He stood up and straightened his shirt, leaning against the bench. As soon as the song stopped and she went to get another drink, he took his window.
Walking up to her side he grabbed her arm gently, locking eyes with her when she turned to look at him. Her pupils were small before, but they grew large like a cats when she looked at him. It made him a little uneasy.
"Katsuki? W-What are you doing h-her-"
"Ochako, lets go. You're getting drunk"
She laughed, she sound was sweet and intoxicating.
"Pfft, What? No! I'm just- h-having fun!"
He sighed and looked at the ceiling, thinking of ideas.
"Hey,"
He said, and she perked up like a child.
"There's a really colourful drink back in my room"
She gasped.
"Really? That's sounds yummy"
"Oh, it is. And it has your name on it. But you can't have it unless you come with me right now"
She looked over her shoulder, reaching out a hand.
"But Izuku-"
"Will be fine. He's grown, he can take care of himself"
She turned back to him with a sad, defeated look. He frowned.
"What's wrong?"
She sniffed.
"I just want you to stop moving around! Is that too much to ask?! There's too many of you..."
He let out a deep breath.
"Okay, time to go now. Come on"He took her hand in his, and began leading her out of the room. She followed him immediately, hopping along beside him. He laughed to himself and half carried her up the stairs, wishing she would even remotely try and lift herself.
