Uraraka tied the laces on her snow boots and shivered. Even inside it was freezing. A sick feeling was beginning to swirl in her stomach, and she didn't like it.
She stood up in a quick motion and locked eyes with Bakugou across the room. He was sitting on a low bench and pulling the laces on his boots tight. His head raised slightly as he stared at her.
Without warning she slapped a hand to her stomach and bolted for the bathroom, holding her mouth shut with her free hand. She didn't have time to shut the door behind her as she dropped to her knees and threw up her breakfast.
It came out of her without mercy, and she couldn't even get a breath of air in. Her stomach clenched and jerked as she threw up everything she had.
She wasn't sure when, but eventually someone had knelt down beside her and pulled her hair back, their other hand on her back.
She coughed and looked to the side, seeing Bakugou, gazing worriedly down at her.
"I don't think you're allowed in here..."
She said, her voice now raspy, and grabbed for the toilet paper to wipe her mouth.
"I don't care about that. Are you okay?"She shrugged and flushed the toilet, getting up on shaky knees. He kept a hand under her shoulder to keep her balanced.
"I think it's just the drinks-"
She broke off as her stomach spasmed again and she swallowed it down. He rubbed her back slowly. His brows furrowed together.
"I thought you had a hangover cure this morning?"
"I did, but, I almost threw that up too. Well, I guess I just did then..."
His head shook once firmly.
"I don't want you skiing today. It's not a good idea"
She waved him off.
"What? Don't be silly, of course I can ski! I'll be- I'll be fine,"
He looked as if he didn't believe her, but shrugged anyway and followed her out the bathroom.
"This doesn't mean I agree with what you're doing, you should stay inside"She sighed and picked up her snowboard.
"You don't agree with a lot of things I say, Katsuki"
He opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by Aizawa announcing that they were leaving now.
She started off, but gasped as Bakugou yanked her back by her collar and secured her into his side by tightly wrapping his arm around her middle.
"What are you doing-"
"You're staying with me until we get to the top. You'll probably slip and fall down the fucking track by yourself"
She pouted up at him and complained for the next three minutes while they walked to the ski escalator. He groaned and lifted her up onto the seat before climbing up to sit next to her. She stared at him for a few seconds before she opened her mouth again, only for him to quickly press his hand to her mouth. His face came so close to hers that she could see the different shades of red in his eyes.
"Say one more fucking word about how you're your own person or some shit, I will throw you off this damn seat and watch you tumble down the mountain"
She nodded her head slowly after being frozen for a moment or two.
"Good"
He said, taking his gloved hand away. He cracked his neck from side to side before rolling his shoulders. She sighed pulled her snowboard closer to her. It was so quiet between them that her mind began to wonder. The dining room from Harry Potter suddenly came to mind. She stared up at the pale sky and swung her legs.
"That dining room from Harry Potter was wrong. The wax from the candles should have dripped down onto the students"
He limply swung his head to face her.
"Why?"
"Gravity?"
"Well now Harry Potter isn't nearly as plausible as it was"
She giggled lightly. He stared at her for a few moments before looking back ahead of them.
"...Do you think Harry Potter was based on a true story?"
She said, he sighed.
"No. But I think whatever condition you have is getting worse"
"I don't have a condition!"
"Whatever you say, round face"
"God, you're so mean to me!"
"' GOd! YoU'Re sO mEAn To mE!'"
"You don't have to mock me.."
He smirked evilly.
"No. But it's still fun."They reached the top of the mountain and hopped off. Without another word to him Uraraka sat down on a bench and began to strap in her boots to her board.
A small child ran up to Bakugou and tugged on the sleeve of his jacket. He raised a brow at the little boy, and Uraraka leaned forward to smile at him. The kid looked up at Bakugou with big brown eyes.
"Are you the...Pound Hero?"
In an instant Bakugou's face went from neutral to pissed.
"The fuck did you just call me?"
"The Pound hero?"
"I'm Ground Zero, little fucker! I mean, sure I've fucked around with a dude but I'm not a 'Pound' hero"
Uraraka punched him in the shoulder and knelt down to the boy.
"Hello, I'm Uravity. Don't mind him, he's just mean to everyone"
The boy gasped and began jumping. She couldn't help but be reminded of Midoriya.
"Uravity! It's really you! Come on come on! You have to come meet my sister, she's your biggest fan!"
She giggled and let the boy drag her off to his family. Bakugou rolled his eyes and turned, to find Mineta gazing up at him. He made a noise of discontent.
"Do you need something?"
Mineta narrowed his eyes.
"What do you mean by 'I've fucked around with a dude' Bakugou?"
"And it matters why?"
"I always knew, ever since you versed Ochako in our first year. No wonder you didn't go easy on her, you were interested in men the whole time. Even at the summer camp, you didn't even try to look at the girls-"
Mineta was cut off, as Bakugou had fisted a hand into the front of his shirt and lifted him up. They were face to face, and anger was coming off the blonde in waves.
"Keep talkin' and I'll blow your ass up until the snow I'm standing on is melted with your blood-"
"Calm down, Bakugou. I'm not interested in you, well, maybe your girlfriend but-"Bakugou bent his arm back and threw Mineta so hard he went flying down the ski track.
"Have a nice ride!"
Iida looked like he was going to have a meltdown.
"Bakugou!"
He screamed, before racing off after Mineta. Over in another group Sero and Kirishima couldn't help but laugh and lean on each other.
Uraraka ran back up to Bakugou's side with her board at her side, puffing slightly. She stared at the scene before her: Mineta sliding down the ski track faster than any board, and Iida desperately racing after him.
"What happened?"
Bakugou shrugged.
"Nothing. Come on, let's go down next"
"Oh, I still have to strap my board on"
He scoffed.
"Hurry up. I don't have all day"
"Then just go without me"
He glared, but did wait for her until she'd strapped on her board and started down the track.
"Race you to the bottom!"
She called, and he grinned.
