(I'm so sorry)
-I say, as I laugh until I can't breath.Ochako_
It was well past midnight when she heard Katsuki return home, the apartment door clicking softly behind him.
"A few hours my ass..."
She murmured, snuggling further into the covers of the bed. She'd chosen to lay straight in the middle, forsaking his own space on the bed, simply because he took so long to come home and didn't bother calling or texting.
Or simply just because she could.Clad in an oversized shirt and underwear, she didn't bother to open her eyes as she heard him walk into the bedroom. He effectively stripped down to his briefs and fell ungracefully on top of her.
She let out a yelp and wriggled out from underneath him, keeping her back to him as she sulked.
A long moment of silence passed between them. Katsuki's sarcastic voice cut through the quiet.
"Why, thank you for asking, because my work was very exhausting, and long. It warms my heart to hear my wife so concerned for her husbands well-being,"
With a silent sneer to herself Ochako ignored his incredibly sarcastic comment. He only went on.
"I saved a few people, it'll probably end up on the news. Deku was there- helped a little bit. I did the heavy lifting, as always"
She scoffed loudly this time from her side of the bed.
"God- it's amazing how you haven't been swallowed by your own narcissism"He poked a finger into her back, and she bristled, cringing.
"Is that any way for a wife to talk to her husband?"
"You were gone for hours, no word back to me. Is that any way for a husband to treat his wife?"
He hummed and settled behind her, pushing his body against hers. His legs up to his neck lined up perfectly with her, and he nuzzled his face into her neck.
"What's wrong? Has something happened?"
She closed her eyes as her focus narrowed to everywhere he touched her, pushed up against her. A feeling of coziness settled over her as he continued nuzzling.
"It's just- I didn't know if you were coming back..."
He stilled for a moment, pausing, before his arms reached around and hugged her tightly, securing them together.
"I'll always come back,"
He promised, his words drifting into the dark. His lips pressed softly against her neck at the same time that his hands began tracing lazy circles on her stomach. She shivered, marvelling at the fact that she'd forgotten what that felt like.
"I-"She cut herself off as a hand slipped under her shirt, so slowly making its way up towards her chest.
"You what?"
He asked innocently, leaving more kisses along her neck, each one a little more heated than the last. He reached her jaw and nipped at it, his breath a caress along her sensitive skin.
She was growing impatient with him. Very impatient, actually. He wouldn't move his hands higher, or lower for that matter, and he wouldn't move against her. He wouldn't give her anything she so desperately craved.
"You- you've never been-"
She gasped as he suddenly pushed against her backside, pressing her face into the pillow.
"I've never been what?"
"Never-"
She panted as his other hand so lazily made its way down, down, down, to where she wanted him. Needed him.
"Never been so slow."
She bit out, biting her lip. He hummed against her, pressing a kiss to her temple.
"True. But, I've never missed you so much before,"
She was about to breath a response when a loud 'BANG' sounded against the far wall. They both jumped and pulled apart, sitting up in bed.
"What was that?"
She whispered, pushing her hair out of her face. Katsuki narrowed his eyes into the darkness.
"I'm not sure..."
He pulled on a pair of pants and strode to the doorway, checking the hall before going to inspect the wall. He was quiet for a while.
"I think it was a bird or something, maybe a bat..."
"A bat? Do bats fly into walls all the time?"
"...no, but I'd rather believe it was an animal than not be able to explain it at all. I've had too long a night anyway,"
She nodded and flopped back down onto her back, and when Katsuki fell back into the covers, he passed out almost immediately.
Ochako sighed and turned onto her side, trying to let sleep claim her.
But she didn't wonder into her dreams for what felt like hours, and she couldn't explain why.
