So Arachne. Why am I doing this again? I'm scared of spiders. Whatever let's start.
The myth of Arachne and Athena. So Arachne is the daughter of a shepherd's daughter and she can weave really well. She's also pretty but no one cares about that because this myth dose not have Zeus in it. One day while she she was weaving and showing off her skills to the crowd she said " I'm so much more talented the Athena." But little did she know that Athena had nothing better to do and heard her say that so she went down to the crowd disguised as a old lady and said " You know that you shouldn't talk trash about the Gods right?". And Arachne responded with " Ha! I don't care! I'm speaking the truth about how Athena is trash! If she want's me to shut up she should come down hear and face me.". Then Athena revealed herself and challenged her to a weaving contest. After a few probably minutes or hours Athena made a tapestry showing off how great the Gods were while Arachne showed how bad the Gods were because Zeus cheated on a Hera with a lot of innocent people. So after all of that the crowd said that Arachne's tapestry was better and Athena got super mad and destroyed it. Then Arachne got super depressed and tried to hang herself but Athena stopped her out of pity and turned her into a spider.
If you guys don't understand why Athena turned her into a spider, it's because spiders hang from a web by their still alive. Spider also weave so, yeah.
