"I haven't picked up a history book... ever, I have no need for one, if I want to know something I can ask anyone in this building," I looked her in the eye, "I may have not been in my nation for years but I can tell you the start and end dates of all the wars, I can tell you everyone who has died in war. I can tell you every time my country has been bombed, where the bomb was and how died. I can tell you what my scientist are focusing on." I pushed myself off the table and stood in front of her, "It's the strangest thought, isn't it?  Thinking that out there in the world is someone how has seen and heard it all."

"Y-You've cheated death itself!" She gasped.

I smiled, "Now that is a positively silly thought. I haven't cheated anything. I was born human and died as a child- actually as a toddler, and when I opened my eyes once more I was no longer mortal. I didn't cheat Death, Amber Scalzo, I was chosen by Earth and her choice was agreed with by Death himself." I soon frowned, "But that doesn't make me better than you or anyone one else. It merely means that I have to suffer with my people."

The woman had fled the room- well the house rapidly, barely muttering out words as she whisked passed me.

"I need to think."

~No one's P.O.V~

Simple and straightforward words.

Terms that together are typically associated with bad things, but on their own hold no horrible definition.

But words that can and will make anyone's heart race.

And that's what they achieved.

Those words caused panic to filter and flood into the mind of the (h/c) haired female.

She wanted Miss Amber Scalzo to believe her, but she didn't want her to be mad at her.

She hadn't come forward until just now she had been given the chance to come forward so many times.

But she was afraid. Just like all the other personifications, she was afraid no... She was worried.

Worried that if she came forward the mortals that surrounded them would come after them.

Worried that if she came forward her family would be at risk.

To her, it was simply nerve-racking.

She wanted only for her family to be safe to not have to worry but those four words freak her out.

They'd freak out anyone in her place.

But she had to remember that most people don't believe in certain things.

Many believe in ghost. Some idiots believe the earth is flat. Others Aliens.

It happens. It's annoying as hell. But it happens. Not a big deal.

But while some people believe some, others believe in all of it, there are, in fact, some people who believe in none of it.

And (Y/n) didn't know if Amber Scalzo was a believer, semi-believer, or a non-believer.

She very well might not believe a word (Y/n) says.

But not many people would believe her let alone spare the time to listen to her.

Amber gave her the time. But did she give (Y/n) her belief?

Only time could tell.

So now... It was a waiting game.

Waiting to see if she would call a conference, waiting to see if she believed, waiting to see if she would take a chance on (Y/n).

(Y/n) slowly looked at the clock. About 5 minutes since Amber left the house- if you'd even call it that- about that time (Y/n) had decided that she wasn't gonna keep standing in the conference room and walked to join the Micro Nations in watching Cartoons. Nothing better than (favorite childhood cartoon).

This is LATE and SHORT. Just like my OHSHC x Reader x Hetalia, this one is getting harder to write. Most likely because I'm way more into Marvel than anything else... So I may be either handing this over to someone else to write or ending it altogether. Probably the latter 🤔

Anyway, despite the fact that I love cheesy shark movies I've never seen Jaws. Which I can proudly say I've seen it now (*cough* the first one *cough*). So Zombie Tidal Wave was cheesy and funny...

Welp,

ALL HAIL THE ALMIGHTY BURRITO!!!
