~Your POV~
I woke up sitting in the passenger seat with Dally driving."Look who's finally up" Dally said grinning like always.
"Morning to you to" I said as he laughed.
I noticed I was wearing his brown leather jacket which put a smile on my face.
"What ya smiling about?" Dally questioned.
"Nothing" I said still smiling.
After about an hour of driving, and me singing to all of the songs that played on the radio, which made Dally laugh. We finally got welcomed to Tulsa by a sign that said 'Welcome to Tulsa, Oklahoma'.
"Oh my God are we nearly here, are we nearly here?" I said jumping up and down in my seat ikr a little kid.
"Relax Doll, probably like 10 more minutes or something" he chuckled.
Which got me even more excited. After about 10 minutes, Dally stopped outside of a small house. I didn't even know if this was there house but I jumped out of the car while Dally was parking up. I ran to the house and without knocking I slammed the door open and ran in.
"Heya boys!" I said nearly falling over because of how fast I ran.
"Omg y/n is that you?" a familiar face said.
"Two-bit!" I said running to him and giving him the biggest hug. Dally ran in through the door.
"Jesus your fast doll!" Dally said out of breath. Everyone laughed. Two-bit had his arm around me introducing me to everyone. They were all so nice. One of the boys really caught my eye, he was gorgeous like really gorgeous, kind of movie star handsome, you dig? I noticed he kept staring at me smiling, I blushed a little but smiled back.
"Y/n this is Sodapop, Sodapop this is y/n" Two-bit said introducing us to each other, he didn't take his eyes off me and his cute smile stuck to his face.
"Wow Ponyboy and Sodapop, how original!" I chuckled.
I sat on the couch with Sodapop on my left and Johnny on my right, while Two-bit was telling everyone embarrassing, funny childhood stories about us. Everyone was dying of laughter.
"Dally talks about you all the time" I said to Johnny with a smile, while everyone else was still cracking up laughing.
"Really" Johnny said.
"Yeh he really loves you, you know that" I said as a big smile appeared on his face.
I just met the gang but I felt like I had known them for years, they felt like family already and I knew that we would become good friends. Sodapop walked out the door and after about a minute I walked out the door following him.
"Hey Sodapop" I said walking out with both my hands in the back pockets of my jeans. I saw him with his face in his hands, sitting on the stairs of the porch.
"Oh hey y/n" he said forcing a smile.
"Everything ok?" I asked sitting beside him, he looked up at me with his eyes nearly watering. I put my arm around him.
"If you wanna talk I'm always here" I said as he gave me a smile but that smile slowly faded away.
"My girlfriend".
"Pardon?" I asked.
"My girlfriend, she broke up with me" he said as his voice broke. I gave him a massive hug, as he hugged me back, resting his head on my shoulder.
"Woah, am I interrupting something?" Two-bit said standing at the door. Me and Sodapop looked at each other and laughed.
We walked back into the house and this time I sat on the floor next to Two-bit, leaning my back on the couch. Dally was sitting on the couch behind me playing with my hair, I didn't stop him, honestly I liked him playing with my hair.
"How bout we go to the drive in tonight" PonyBoy said.
"Can't, got work tomorrow" Darry said.
"Sorry kid I'm busy" Steve said.
"I might meet you there, but can't make any promises" Two-bit said.
So it was just me, PonyBoy, Johnny, Dally and Sodapop going to the drive in.
It was now around 6:00pm and we were walking to the drive in, I was walking next to PonyBoy and Johnny.
"So you like reading PonyBoy?" I asked
"Yeah I guess" he said kicking a pebble.
"You should read 'Gone With The Wind', it's a real good book" I said as PonyBoy looked up and smiled at me.
"So do you read?" PonyBoy questioned me
"I use to I guess" my smile fading away.
Before my mum died or before my dad started drinking I would read, draw, paint all of those types of things. Surprisingly I actually use to be quite smart, but I dropped out of school and started breaking the law and getting into trouble.
We finally got there and we snuck through a hole in the fence, we walked over to the seats since we didn't have a car. Sodapop sat on my right, Dally sat on my left, Johnny and PonyBoy sat next to Sodapop. Dally chucked his arm around me while putting his feet up on the chair in front of us. Sodapop saw Dally's arm around me.
"So you guys like more than friends or something?" Sodapop questioned.
"No, just-" before I could finish answering Sodapop, Dally cut me off.
"Friends with benefits" Dallas laughed, winking at Sodapop, while Sodapop let out a little chuckle but looking at me and stopping.
That got me real mad, man friends with benefits? I stood up with anger, hoping that Dallas would notice but he was to busy annoying the girls in front of us.
"Johnny, PonyBoy you want anything?" I asked, they both shook there head saying yes.
"You want anything Sodapop?" I asked him, ignoring Dallas.
"Sure I'll come with ya" Sodapop said getting up. We were in the line waiting to pay.
"You mad at Dally?" Sodapop asked me.
"Why would you think that?" I said cocking a eyebrow.
"I can tell" he said as I gave him a smile.
"Friends with benefits? Man I haven't even kissed him or anything".
"That's just Dallas Winston for ya" Sodapop said trying to make me happy again, but with him I was already happy.
"Yeh but he's different around me, he can be real caring you know that Soda".
