Sorry this chapter is really short and bad <3

~Y/n POV~
I haven't talked to Dally since yesterday. I was laying on my bed staring at the ceiling, it was boring and I hated being bored. I got up, slipping a pair of shoes on as I walked out. Mrs Mathews was in the kitchen dancing to music with a cigarette in her mouth and curlers in her hair. I stood there and watched her dance, laughing. She danced out of the kitchen grabbing my hand and twirling me around.

"I'm going to the Curtis house" I laughed over the music.

"Alright hun" she danced.

Without knocking I opened the door, the house was quite which was weird, it was never quite. I walked in to see Darry sitting on his chair reading the newspaper.

"Oh hey Darry" I said as he looked up at me and gave me a smile.

"Hey Y/n" he looked back down at his newspaper.

"Where's all the boys?" I questioned.

"School and work you know" he said as I walked into the kitchen getting a piece of chocolate cake.

"So you got the day off?" I questioned, sitting back down.

"Yeah I needed a day off" he finished reading the paper and sat it down as he looked at me.

"So where's Dally?" He got up and walked into the kitchen.

"We had a fight, he said that he knew we would never work out" I followed him into the kitchen still eating my chocolate cake.

"Well it was just a little fight, you'll guys make up and it'll be better soon" Darry said as I hoped his words were true.

"I hope so, you know how stubborn he can be. I mean he could be out with another girl right now!" I sat on the kitchen bench.

"Stop worrying Y/n, it's fine. Your special to Dally and we all know it, he ain't just gonna let you go like that" Darry said making me a little more happy.

"Thanks Darry" I said as the door slammed open.

Sodapop, Steve and Two-bit came running in tackling me to the ground as we started rough housing each other.
