AN: As usual, I recommend reading the summary page first, just so there's no confusion. Most likely, I will be uploading a new chapter every Friday, seeing as I upload chapters from my other stories every Saturday and Sunday. I'm starting off with a prologue this time and I hope you all enjoy :)

•Prologue
Harry's Pov.
9:30 p.m. and I find myself sitting on a stool at a bar. The stage was rather small; Niall and Lou managed to talk me into singing karaoke. The bartender stood behind the counter, arms crossed, awaiting my endeavor. The bar's occupants sat at their table, eyes fixated on me. The ceiling lights were pointing in my direction, bright enough to liberate heat waves against my skin. I looked at Louis; his lips were slightly parted; pink, alluring and firm. Blue eyes visibly lit. A broad smile spread throughout his face. His attraction was quite superb. The club owner, Rick, pushed play, causing the instrumental to begin. A few whistles and claps shot through the crowd.
"Go, Harry!" Zayn's distinctive shout could be heard, echoing over the others. I closed my eyes, followed by an inhale and exhale mechanism, then raised the mic to my mouth.
I need another story
Something to get off my chest
My life is kind of boring
Need something that I can confess
Til all my sleeves are stained red
From all the truth that I've said
Come by it, honestly. I swear
Thought you saw me wink, no
I been on the brink, so
Tell me what you want to hear
Something that were like those years
I'm sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away
This time,
Don't need another perfect line
Don't care if critics ever jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
Got no reason, got no shame
Got no family I can blame
Just don't let me disappear
I'ma tell you everything
Tell me what you want to hear
Something that were like those years
I'm sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away
This time,
Don't need another perfect line
Don't care if critics ever jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
"Thank you." I set the mic on its' respective stand, then moved it to the side; I stood there and sulked in all the applauds. The feeling was quite exhilarating. I walked off the stage and returned to the table that my mates and I occupied. The spot next to Louis was empty, so I took my rightful place.
"That was beautiful, mate." Niall gave me a tap on the back, then returned to his hot wings. The hot sauces' smell lingered through the area, making an entrance through my nostrils. I was tempted to have a bite myself, though Niall probably wouldn't share.
"That was beautiful, Haz." At the sound of his angelic tone, my eyes met Louis' for the hundredth time this night. The sincerity in his voice warmed my heart and I smiled, instantly.
"Thanks, boo." I placed my hand on his thighs and stared at him; oddly enough, it's something I find myself doing a lot. Majority of the time, I don't notice. During interviews, when he talks, all my focus goes on him. I noticed the same gesture happens even when he's not speaking. We're very affectionate and it's been seen as a bromance. I've liked to think of it that way. Unfortunately, I would be lying if that's the only thing I wished to consider it. There's definitely an attraction there; whether or not it's mutual, I'm ignorant to the assumption. I do have a crush on him and I've never had a problem admitting so. From the moment we were announced as a unison, on X Factor, my thinking process fixed on him; I ran straight to him with open arms and he lifted me off the ground. Though during that time, I wasn't much taller than him, as I am now. I picked him up with ease, as if he was a feather, then spun him.
"Ready to go?" Liam stood up, awaiting for the rest of us to do so. His hair was ruffled from all the dancing he's done tonight and he looked completely exhausted. His voice was a bit hoarse, due to all the singing we just did on our latest tour. We were granted hiatus - a break - and I was more than grateful for it. Promoting the album on several televised shows, plus touring an abundance of countries, was draining. It takes a lot of work and strive; we were always driven, but that doesn't take away from the fact that we're all human. Rest does the body well.
We made our way out the bar. Zayn was drunk and had his arms around Liam and Niall's neck, slurring the lyrics of the song I was just singing. I chuckled and shook my head. "I luuuu you, Li. Ju-just give me...a kiss." He poked his lips out towards Liam's mouth, but Liam's quick reflexes caused him to move his head back quickly.
"Mate, you're drunk. Let's not do anything hastily. Niall, help me get him in the car." As they lifted Zayn into the backseat of my Range Rover, Lou and I stood on the pavement. His hands were in the pockets of his jacket and smoke evacuated his mouth every time he exhaled; winter had arrived and it was, at least, below fourty degrees. I took my beanie off my head, allowing my curls to fall freely over my face and ears. I walked over to him and extended my arm out.
"Here, you go." He turned my way and shot me a smile.
"Thanks you, Hazza." He placed the grey beanie over his fringe and fixed it properly. "Much better."
"He's all strapped up." Niall shouted, slightly; he then proceeded to hop in the backseat, then closed the door. As I walked around to the driver's side, Liam closed the other back door, followed by Lou in the passenger seat. I was the designated driver, though Zayn was the only one drunk, this time. Niall was a bit tipsy; however, his senses were still in tact. I started the car up and checked my rear view mirror, as I began to pull off. Louis flipped through the radio stations, just about flipping through some of them more than once. It was kind of late, so I could see why not many stations were playing anything interesting.
"I...I'm hungry. Aren't you, Nialler?"
"Zayn, go to sleep, mate."
I entered the freeway, stopping at the yield light, before continuing on. Even at this time of the day, it was kind of crowded; but car pool would definitely come in handy. I merged over, now in the second lane. The brights lights from the other drivers were a little blinding, but I was able to manage.
"I-I...think I'm going to be sick, dudes." I heard the sound of barfing, followed by some screeches from Niall and Liam.
"Zayn, you got it all over my shoes!" Liam shouted. I turned around for to get a glimpse of the unfortunate fiasco going on in the back. Niall was rubbing Zayn's back, while Liam sat there, face filled with a disgusting expression. The vomit laid on my floor, splattered throughout.
"You guys, I just got the car washed two days ago!"
"Harry, look out!" At the sound of Louis' voice, I turned back around to find a bright light headed in our direction. Everything faded to black.
