Author's Note: Just want to say thank you again for all of the views and votes, thus far. Secondly, I changed the cover photo. Handsome, aren't they? :) This chapter will be the first one to have a Liam's point of view and, not only that, but this whole chapter will be from his perspective. Also, I have another Larry story that I will be uploading about an hour, or two hours, after uploading this, in case anyone wants to check it out. Enjoy xo
Liam's Pov.
Something about hearing Harry's story last night left me in a fragile, emotional state. I practically spent most of the night fighting the urge to cry or over-think everything about it. Most of it was remotely close to our reality; then, there were parts that were just that, a dream - a fabrication. I can now see why Harry reacted the way he did when he saw me walk into his hospital room. I could only imagine reacting the same way, initially. If all of that wasn't enough, I can't seem to find myself leaving Niall's side. We've always been close; however, lately, it's like we're attached at the hip. He sleeps in my bed more now and I don't think Zayn is too pleased about it. They're not together, but Zayn can be a bit protective of him. Even before hearing Harry's story, I already had feelings for Niall, but now they're enhanced a bit. It's too much to take in - finding out that I was "dead" and one of my best mates lived in an alternate life for a month, to realizing I may be in love with another one of my best mates. Hopefully, none of this weighs on me heavily.
I removed the cover from my body, slowly and carefully, so Niall wouldn't awaken. I still feel as though a few things were left unanswered and wanted to have another talk with Harry. I think he may be hiding something else - something has to do with Louis even. "Li?" Niall's husky voice pierced through my ears and I turned around and smiled at him. He returned the smile, then closed his eyes. "It's only five in the morning. Why are you up?"
"Just going to have a bit of a chat with Harry."
"Bring me back some breakfast, yeah?"
"Anything for you." His arm reached out for me and I placed mine on top, sending him a reassuring pat. I stood up, then stepped lightly out of the room. The halls were dark and a small breeze graced me, causing me to place my hands in my pajama pockets. I opened Harry's door, quietly - careful not to disturb Louis, knowing he would be asleep in here. "Harry." I whispered, while approaching his bed. Nothing. He's somewhat of a heavy sleeper, but it doesn't take much to wake him up, such as the others. I guess I'm the only morning person out of the five of us. It doesn't really bother me, as long as I get some sort of rest. "Harry, we need to talk." I shook him by the shoulders, lightly. He let out a small grunt, followed by his eyes flickering before he opened them.
"Hey, Li. What's wrong?"
"I just thought we could have a small chat again. Meet me in the living room whenever you're ready to get up."
"Okay. Be down in a minute." I ruffled his hair, as it free fell upon his face. I made my way back into the hallway, then headed down the stairs. It was still chili, a slight breeze swaying through the flat, though none of the windows were open. Winter was approaching and, despite it being one of my favorite times of the year, we would have other worries on our hand. Hopefully, none of us get sick. Usually, Harry or Louis is the first. They always catch each other's illness. We're returning to work in a few days, not to mention our meeting with Modest tomorrow, so I'll have to keep up the temperature around here. I made my way over to the thermometer and turned the heater on. It would take a while to kick in; however, I could bare until then.
I made my way over to the couch and Harry didn't come down too long after. He rubbed his eyes free of the sleep, then took a seat next to me - cuddling close enough to keep us both warm. I guess Harry was right when he said we don't more than a minute in the comfort of each other, such as he and Louis and Niall and I. He head rested on my shoulder, breath becoming steady. The heat was starting to kick in and this particular sensational feeling as relaxing. "What did you want to talk about, Li?" I took a minute to gather my thoughts and wanted to approach the subject in a matter that wouldn't stir controversy or make him feel uncomfortable. After all of the confessing he did last night, I figured he wouldn't mind giving me some more insight.
