I roll over but soon stop when I realized I'm in a soft and comfy bed. It's also smell like vanilla.

Slowly I open my eyes to glance at my surroundings.

Napaupo ako ng makitang hindi ko kwarto at hindi ko kama ang hinihigaan ko ngayon.

Napahawak ako sa leeg ko. Last night I've felt something in here.

Nasan bako?

I try to look around and on the bedside table baka kasi sakali may makita akong bakas ng may ari ng bahay.

I only see my phone and my car keys there.
Aside from a picture frame of a little girl na may kahawig na taong kilala ko.

Tumingin ako sa upuan just near the bed at dun ko nakita ang jacket ko nakasampay sa armrest.

I heard to doorknob being open by someone kaya dali dali ulit akong humiga at pumikit. Inayos kona din ang kumot ko.

Sino naman kaya to?  Gosh Annie!!  Baka may papatay na sayo!  Sigaw ng isip ko.

I heard the footsteps getting closer and closer.
Naramdaman ko ang pag upo ng tao sa gilid ng kama.

The perfume was familiar. I will never forget that smell or maybe I'm just assuming. Imposibleng sya ito. It's been a year and for sure she have a family now.

I felt a finger fix my hair.

"I know you're awake. You can't fool me Annie"- said by woman who have a soft and feminine voice.

Nagwala na ang puso ko. Minulat ko ang mga mata ko only to see her beautiful face that was just an inch away from me.
Kaya pala familiar yung picture frame nung bata sa picture kasi iyon sya nung bata sya!!

I push her on her shoulder para naman magkadistansya kami.

Agad akong umupo at umusod sa headboard ng Kama.

She is looking at me. I averted my gaze on her because she looks so beautiful in her yellow sleeveless dress. Her hair wasn't tied up. It's just hanging gracefully on her back and on the side of her neck.

She look so fresh while me I think I need a bath now.
For sure I still smell like alcohol.

"Excuse me! "- I said and I quickly get off from the bed and run to the other door inside the room.

Buti nalang at tama ang binuksan kong pinto dahil banyo agad ang bumungad sakin.

Agad akong nagmumog at naghilamos. Ang haggard ko.
I also fix my hair and wipe the water on my face using the towel I saw in the bathroom.

Hindi ko alam kung ilang minuto ako nagtagal sa loob basta paglabas ko I saw her standing on the window. Her back is facing me and she's crossing her arms.

Dahan dahan akong naglakad papuntang kama at inayos ko yon.

"It's been a while, how are you? "- I heard her asked.

Hindi ako sumagot at nagpatuloy lang sa ginagawa ko.

"I'm talking to you"- she said in a demanding tone.

Napatingin ako sa kanya. She's looking at me now demanding for a response.

"I'm fine"- I said simply before standing straight.

Dinampot ko ang susi ko at ang cell phone ko.

"May sasabihin kapa ba?"- I asked.

I saw her a bit hesitant but still manage to maintain her serious face.
