five // back story

Donny's POV

It's already 1 AM in the morning kakauwi ko lang galing sa set ng walwal. Kanina lang kami nagstart ng shooting. Its felt surreal everytime naiisip ko na may solo project na ko. This is my first time having a movie na ako ang isa sa mga lead role.

Habang nagiisip at hindi pa rin makapaniwala sa nangyayari biglang may kumatok sa pinto ng kwarto ko. Hindi pa ko nakakatayo ng biglang bumukas ito at pumasok si Daddy.

"Son, can I come in?" tumango ako, lumapit si Dad at umupo sa tabi ng kama "How is your first day of  taping?". Tumayo ako galing sa pagkakahiga at tumabi sakanya.

"Doing good! All the people there are easy to work with. Magaan lang sa set, Direk Joey are very kind and approachable. Tinuruan niya pa nga po ako ng mga techniques para mas mapalabas ko pa ang emotions ko." Excited na kwento ko kay Daddy.

Habang nagk-kwento ako ng mga nangyari kanina sa set nakangiti lang si Papa habang pinapanood ako.

"Sorry that I didn't make it through your first day of taping. My sched are very tight at the moment. But I know that Gelo is doing his job taking care of all your needs. I just came up here to say that I'm happy for you Son. I know that you really wanted these to happen." Daddy said. I just look at him and smile. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na sinusupportahan nila ko sa pangarap ko.

"I heard that Kisses Delavin will be part of the Walwal cast. . ." Sabi ni Dad while waiting for my reaction. Kanina ko lang din nalaman sa shoot ang final casting. Medyo nagkadelay kasi kaya ngayon lang nila nilabas. Hindi na nga nagkaroon ng look test para sa mga cast e.

"Yeah. . . " I said trying to fake my reaction. But my Dad knows me better.

"You can't fake your eyes Donny. I can see through it." He said. I smile at him.

My Dad is my ultimate best of friend. He's the coolest Dad in the world! He understand that my generation and their genaration have a lot of differences. He's trying to understand the youth. Sometimes I thought that he's doing a research about how a millenial thinks but it turns out that he's just curious about our perspective. The way we think. He wants to understand the youth without any judgement.

"I'm happy that I got a chance to see her again. After what happend 2 years ago, I thought that our path will never be crossed."

after saying that, memories starts flashing through my head . . .

2015

It's been 2 years since we met. That time nagtatago pa ko sa parents ko para makapunta ng workshop. That's the first time na nakilala namin ang isa't isa.

"One of the main characteristic of an effective actor, you must need to know how to be comportable infront of everyone. Now, face your partner and look at each others eyes without feeling any awkwardness." sabi ng acting couch na nagtuturo samin.
