The whole ride to my soon to be home was long and boring . Aidon hardly spared me a word not to talk of a glance . He seemed so engrossed tapping off in his laptop to even acknowledge my presence . My butt was aching from sitting in the same posture for so long . It's not as though i was glued on my seat , i just didn't want to risk moving incase i tampered with Aidon's long legs that seemed to dominate the little space between us .

I tried keeping myself busy by scrolling through my tablet . Eventually i got bored and decided to listen to the raindrops tapping on the windows of the car . It had started raining immediately we drove out of the church's ground .  We were lucky to have finished the ceremony early or we could have been drenched .

The rhythm of the rain drops was so soothing that i didn't notice drifting off to sleep . Only when a tapping on my shoulder grew persistent is when i opened my eyes . I expected to see Aidon's face  only to find an old guy dressed as a butler looking at me with a smile on his face . The rain had stopped but it was already dark. How long had i slept ?

"Mrs Alfonso , my name is Arthur . I have come to show you to your room . Please follow me "
He said with a heavy England accent . If i could estimate he looked 60/70 years tho he still held good looks and his grey beard made him look like the older version of Shane West .

"Nice to meet you Mr Arthur and please call me Daisy "

" Am sorry mam but it was according to the boss ."

" I insist ," i said smiling warmly.

"Okey Miss Daisy ,and i would request kindly for you to refer to me as only Arthur ....no mr it makes me uncomfortable ," he said bowing .

Wonders will never seize to amaze me . Despite our age difference Arthur doesn't seem to mind bestowing respect on me .

Talking of the boss who obviously was Aidon ,where is he?

"Where is Mr Alfonso ?" I asked alighting the car with little help from Arthur for i was still drowsy from the sleep .

"He went to his room an hour ago "

An hour ago ? The look on my face immediately sent the question to Arthur .

"Miss Daisy ,you arrived an hour ago but Mr Alfonso said nobody should wake you till he gives further instructions " Arthur said apologetically .

I was quite confused with Aidon's behavior. Did he not want me to be disturbed or was it coz he couldn't tolerate my company.

"It's okey Arthur .Please lead the way ."

A mansion fit the huge two storey building infront of me . Despite the darkness one could see that it was professionally constructed , although it looked cold and haunting . I didn't get enough time to admire it for Arthur was looking quite impatient .

We entered the house through a beautifully sculptured bulletproof glass door . The interior of the house made my eyes pop as i tried to digest it all in . Everything was done to perfection . The furniture looked expensive and sparkle clean .

Some maids were still hustling around in the house . Jeez at what time do they sleep . When they saw me they stopped and greeted me then went about their work .

I thought we would be sharing a room with my new husband but that was not the case . Arthur showed me to my room at the far end of the second floor while Alfonso's was on the opposite side . Wow so much of a marriage . Anyway at least i got to enjoy my own  room without some stranger creeping up on my business . Trust me i wouldn't tolerate being  around Aidon's temper .

My stuff had already been brought into the room and arranged away to their respective places . I still had my gown on tho i had gotten rid of the veil and the trailing net the moment i stepped out of the church . I guessed Carey had them .

I really needed a hot bath which i did and thirty minutes later i changed into my comfortable pink sweat pants and a white baggy tee with SpongeBob at the front .

There was a knock on my door and Arthur walked in to inform me that dinner was ready . I peeped at my phone to check on the time . It was 9:15 pm so i decided that a little food wouldn't hurt . I never ate past 9pm at home which was a habit after i read some myths on the internet on health .

I slipped on my pink bunny slippers and went downstairs .
I was expecting Aidon to be at the dinning table but i was surprised to find that only the maids who were arranging the table were around . Arthur stood at the far corner as though he was my body guard .

The table was set for a feast . Five varieties of food were there ,two different types of wines ,a tray full of fruits ,two bowls of dessert ,a jug of orange juice , a bottle of vanilla yoghurt and others . How did they know  my favorite . Without wasting time i  munched into the food . I was quite hungry tho i didn't feel like it while in my room . I guess the tasty dishes just provoked my hunger.

"Arthur where is my husband ?" I asked as i sipped from a glass of water .
