"Princess," Coran called in a chipper tone, "It seems we're being hailed!"

"On screen," Allura groaned as she rubbed her eyes, with a cup of heavily caffeinated tea in hand.

"Apparently, the signal is coming from a small ship. It looks sort of like a Galra cruiser..." Said Coran as he observed the computer at his station.

"A whAT?!"

A holographic screen opened up. At first, there was just static, but after a second or two, it faded, revealing a Galra woman's face and voice. "Don't shoot," she said urgently. "I'm looking for my son. The tracking device he carries lead me to this area. Is there anyone on your ship named Keith Kagone?"

Coran and Allura exchanged surprised looks. "Yes," Allura said, "He's here, just... give me a moment, I'll call him in."

Meanwhile, Lance and Keith were in the futon, Keith on his back and Lance with his head on Keith's chest, sleeping soundly. (If you must know, they were fully clothed.)

"Lance," Allura said causally over the intercom. "Lance? Laaance....?" Allura paused for a moment.

"PALADIN! COME IN!" She shouted. The two boys jumped to their feet in surprise.

"Uh... what's up, Allura?" said Lance groggily.

"Where's Keith?"

"I'm right here," Keith answered.

"We're being hailed; there's a woman who would like to see you."

Keith's eyes widened. "What's her name?"

There was a brief pause, and then,

"Krolia."

Keith raced down the hall, With Lance close behind him.

"Who is this Krolia?" asked Lance.

"My mom," Keith replied quickly.

"Oh, OH! That's- uh- that's good!" Lance smiled.

The two of them soon reached the Bridge, and Keith sprinted to the communication screen. "MOM!" Keith cried.

Krolia put her hand up to her screen. "Keith," she said in a voice full of relief. Keith did the same on his side.

"How'd you find me?"

"The tracking device I gave you, remember?"

"Tracking device?" Asked Lance.

Keith pulled out what looked to be a small black stone, with a spiderweb looking crack in its side. "Mom gave me this before I went on my mission. She has one too, so we could find each other if we got separated, but I thought mine was broken..." he looked down at it with curiosity.

"It was, somewhat," Krolia explained. "The signal wasn't very strong; I wasn't able to pinpoint your exact location. It lead me to this area of space, and when I saw this ship, something told me to investigate." Krolia turned to Allura. "Do I have permission to dock?" she asked politely.

Allura hesitated, and, involuntarily, glanced at Keith. She saw the pleading look in his eyes. For just a split second, a thought of her father crossed her mind, making her flinch. She sighed. "Permission granted." Though her voice was calm, her face had a trace of worry.

In the docking bay, Krolia hopped out of her cruiser as Keith raced towards her. He pounced on her, and the two embraced tightly.

"I was worried I'd never see you again," Krolia whispered.

Keith nodded. "I thought you'd just assume I was dead!" He laughed a little.

Krolia shook her head. "Never. I'd never abandon you, not until I knew for sure."

Allura and Lance watched this reunion, Lance crying a little from the beautiful scene, Allura looking a bit sad.
