Sasuke X Reader

"Hey um, are you okay?"

I asked as we kept walking. Since we heard the gun shot Sasuke hasn't said anything. It made me worry about him. "I'm fine." I looked down and reached for his hand. Before I could grab it he pulled away. I bit my lip and furrowed my brows. "You know I'm  just trying to help." I stayed as I stopped walking. "We don't even know if your brother was killed and you act like I don't know your pain." He turned around to look at me. "You act like he is dead but you don't know that!" Tears filled my eyes but none of them slipped. "You can't just assume without knowing the truth." 

His eyes widened a bit and he walked up to me. I sniffled and he pulled me into a hug. "I'm sorry. You're right." I hugged him back and cried into his chest. I had lost my parents at a young age and had to live with my Aunt since I was 6. I didn't see them get killed or anything because they died from a car crash. That's all I knew because that's all my Aunt told me. I was spending the night at my Aunts house because my parents wanted to go out for their anniversary and on the way back a car ran into them and they were gone. Just like that.

My Aunt got custody of me and that was it. I never got to know my parents personally. My Aunt would tell me stories about them but it's not like when you get to talk to someone to get to know them. I cried for a good amount of time as people walked by staring at us. It's not everyday you see someone cry on the streets. I eventually stopped but didn't let go of the hug. Sasuke on the other hand probably felt uncomfortable so I tried to pull away but he pulled me back in. "Um, you can let go know." His grip tightened. "Not until you're completely okay with it." I smiled and patted his back. "I'm okay now." Slowly his arms unwrapped from around me and he grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers. 

"Lets find a place to sleep." He suggested and I nodded. Just like that we were back on the road again. Finding a place to rest and begin our journey in the morning. That night though was an eventful night that no one would have thought would happen between us.
