"Yellow seven."

"Green seven."

It's been over a week since the funeral, and neither Frank nor Gerard have mentioned that Gerard called Frank beautiful. And Lindsey's pissed about it.

They have gotten closer though. That's mostly Lindsey's fault. She's been pushing them to hang out. Go on coffee runs, play video games, she's even started some loud debates about music and movies.

Apparently they're both down for horror movies, but Gerard likes more of the Sci-Fi thriller kind, and Frank likes more of the gory, people-die-horrible-deaths kind.

She also pushed for them to exchange numbers, making their conversations last late into the night, long after they're both in their own beds. Both of their intentions being that they just want to know all about each other.

"Blue seven."

"Wild card, red eight."

Neither of them noticed that their friendship was totally Lindsey's doing. Mostly because she's always been a badass playing matchmaker. And their chemistry is way too strong for them to ignore.

But Lindsey was definitely frustrated that neither of them are making any moves toward each other.

Gerard was so flirty at first, but now it's nearly all gone, except for a couple of smooth comments, and even then, he acts so nervous and flustered around Frank, you'd think Frank was the president or some shit.

"Red two."

"Red five."

Even now, as Lindsey was watching them play the most fucking dramatic game of Uno ever played, she could tell that there was some sort of unknown power present. It wasn't super obvious, but she could tell there was something there. She was just trying to figure out what it was. It, whatever "it" is, was noticeable that day Gerard called him beautiful too, this weird aura of unsure feelings. Maybe like feelings feelings.

"Blue five."

"Blue six."

"Red six. Also, Uno."

"I have a grab four ready for you." Gerard smirked.

"Try it." Frank tilted his head. "I dare you."

"Maybe I will." Gerard raised an eyebrow at him.

They stared at each other. The tension in the room spiked, and Lindsey dropped her phone to look at them.

This game of Uno was suddenly getting way out of hand.

"Gerard, fucking do it to him already." Lindsey snapped.

They both looked at her, surprise and confusion on their faces.

"N- Never mind." She said. "Just play the game."

Gerard cleared his throat and set the card down. "You take four."

Frank grinned and took his last card. "No, you!" He placed the switch card down.

"Son of a bitch!" Gerard yelled.
