Y'all, I think this is the longest one yet (almost 6000 words) and I'm so proud of it for so many reasons

Enjoy ;3

"Hmm..." Frank opened his eyes slowly, blinking and squinting. He was warm, cozy, but his shoulders were cold. He inhaled deeply and glanced upward, seeing the two-day-stubble on Gerard's jawline.

He smiled remembering the night before.

He had kissed Gerard.

About fucking time, honestly.

He nuzzled into Gerard's chest and breathed in his scent, faintly of cologne, or maybe a scented deodorant? And a spice, like cinnamon, with an aftereffect of something sweet, like chocolate or baked goods, almost like he lived in a pastry shop.

Based on the sunlight in the windows, it was still technically morning. Which was nice considering Frank was normally up at sunrise unable to sleep again.

He heard a hum and felt Gerard's arms tighten around him, pulling him closer, like hugging, but better, because they're lying down and more relaxed.

Frank leaned back to look at him, and grinned as their eyes met.

Gerard smiled sleepily, his eyes barely open and his nose scrunched up while his eyes adjusted.

"Good morning." Frank said, his voice still raspy from waking up.

"G'morning." Gerard mumbled, still sounding half asleep.

Frank leaned forward just a little so their noses were almost touching.

It just felt so good. Having someone. He never wanted it to stop. Feeling someone's arms around him, his arms around the other, the physical human touch. Their bodies pushed together, the relaxing warmth making both of them never want to leave.

Frank's stomach flipped, but in a good way. It was exciting, almost, having someone to fall in love with who liked you back just as much.

He reached up and touched Gerard's face. Running his thumb down his cheekbone and over his soft, pink lips.

Gerard leaned forward and their noses nudged together.

Frank closed his eyes contentedly, still rubbing his thumb over Gerard's cheek.

"Open your eyes."

Frank opened his eyes again. "What?"

"I've never seen them this close. I want to see your eyes."

Frank frowned, forcing his eyebrows as low as he could.

"I said open your eyes!" Gerard exclaimed, giggling.

"They are open!"

"Fix your eyebrows." Gerard said, trying to push them up with his thumb. "Raise them."

"Make me!"

"Those are fighting words." Gerard snipped. "Raise your eyebrows, you dick, I want to look at your eyes again."

Frank raised his eyebrows excessively, widening his eyes and holding back a laugh.

"Good enough for you?"

"Good enough."

Frank just laughed and looked over Gerard's features. His focus face was alarmingly attractive, especially since he was staring right at him.

Gerard's eyebrows pulled together slightly.

"Frank." He said, looking almost concerned.

"What?" Frank asked, his anxiety bumping up a notch.
