While Patton was asleep, the other three had arranged to take a small visit to Thomas. Patton wasn't himself, the others knew that. But was his emotions affecting Thomas? That was what they were about to find out.

Thomas was just about to hit the hay, before noticing his sides popping up one by one. Logic, Anxiety and Creativity. But no Morality.

"Thomas," Logan called out, his host smiling towards them.

"Oh, uh. Hey guys? I didn't expect you to show up, I didn't summon you.. Nor am I going through some sort of dilemma? Or making a vid- Is something wrong?" Thomas was stammering unintentionally over his words, not even realising until he noticed Virgil's small groans leaving his lips. "Am I getting too anxious?"

"You're overthinking," Virgil corrected him before frowning. "Take a breath, Thomas. Nothing is going on. We just wanted to see how you were doing."

Thomas did as instructed while Virgil had counted him in, nodding in satisfaction with a mouthed 'thank you' before coming to a conclusion. "Then that means something is wrong," He referred. "What's bothering you all? And where's Patton?" He pointed out to the empty space, and Roman softly sighed.

"Patton hit the hay a little early. He was exhausted with baking cookies that he went to get some rest." Roman stated. He earned a small glare from Virgil, but an approval from Logan.

"Yes. Precisely that," Logan nodded. However, Virgil had to invade. They were lying, and he disliked it.

"But," He began, shaking his head. "Patton has been going through some short dilemma's himself."

Soon after he spoke, he earned death glares from the others as Thomas looked concerned. "What is it, Virge?"

"Well.. How are you feeling, Thomas?"

Thomas had to think about that. He had a few sad breakdowns the last few days. He's been crying without an actual reason why. So truly, was he okay? Probably not. "I think I'm alright.." He answered, unsure.

"Charlie Frown here is going to over-exaggerate, no doubt, so I'll explain," Roman piped up, earning a second death glare from the other personality. "Patton has been feeling not himself lately." He explained, his head lowering while doing so. "He's become.. more, well-"

"Emotional." Logan stepped in, smiling to Roman before back to Thomas. "He hasn't been himself since the nostalgia video."

"When we all went to his room?" Thomas asked and the sides nodded in unison. "That is correct." Logan responded.

"But that was so long ago..?" Thomas recalled, looking towards Logan. "He's getting nightmares from a video which was like.. a while ago."

"He's also getting memories of recent videos. He thinks nobody pays attention to him." Logan rephrased. Virgil frowned, pulling his hood up.

"Why are you anxious, Thomas?" Virgil asked, and the host glanced back over to his Anxiety persona. "Why wouldn't I be? I asked him if I could see his room.. I hadn't even noticed he was feeling down."

Virgil just shrugged, "None of us did until I found him shaken up after a nightmare."

Logan sighed. "We can't say for sure that he'll recover in the span of a few days. But we can reassure him until he finds a passage to recovery. I think he's mainly trying to not affect you in any cause, in case something was to come up."

Thomas let out a heavy sigh before frowning, looking down. "You asked me how I felt, Virgil?" He looked back up and then let out a held-back breath. "I feel.. like a complete idiot. I knew that he was holding back some sort of feelings. He said it himself, he was the core of a lot of my feelings-"

"And that is exactly what is hurting him, Thomas." Virgil stepped in, with his host looking startled. "He wants to believe he's at the core of your happy feelings. But he knows he isn't just apart of that, and he's trying to be." Anxiety pulled his hood back down, shrugging. "Now I don't know about you guys," He gestured to the other sides. "But I frantically don't like leaving Patton on his own when we're all here having a mother's meeting. So you can either join me, or you can stay."

He gave a two-fingered salute before sinking back down, back into the MindScape. Logan and Roman watched him before a unison of sighs filled the atmosphere. "I suppose we should go check up on him." Logan suggested and Roman nodded.

"I think Brad Pitiful's got it under control. But I still need beauty sleep. Get some rest Thomas." He waved before sinking down, leaving Logan and Thomas there on their own.

"Are you going to be alright, Thomas?" Logan asked, while Thomas just rubbed the back of his neck. "I mean. I guess. I just feel bad for not recognising my own morality being.. bruised." He felt guilty for not recognising. This was his morality. His emotions. His heart. Patton was taking it all from him, not allowing him to feel any pain he felt. He couldn't harm his host, despite how much pain he would go through.

"I wouldn't stress yourself over it. Patton needs to understand that it is alright to be sad sometimes. Studies show that sadness can be a powerful motivation tool. It is what motivates us to allow ourselves to feel downhearted, and finds ways on where we can find people to help. It allows us to recognise the people we have in the world, for a sense of comfort. When we are sad, we find comfort. It is one of the seven main emotions we feel in general. It is alright. Everything is fine." Logan explained, giving a concluded nod. Thomas smiled, nodding his head.

"Thanks, Logan." Logan just nodded. "Happy to help. Now, it's guaranteed that you should head up to bed. It's getting late." He told him before smiling small. "Goodnight, Thomas." He soon sank down, joining the others in the common room.

Virgil and Roman glanced over at Logan, who came to sit down and picking his book up. "How is Patton?" He asked and Virgil nodded.

"He's asleep. No nightmares since we've been here."

"Have you checked his room?" Logan asked and Virgil raised a brow. "What do you mean, check his room? Of course we have, Logan. We had to walk inside to make sure he was asleep."

"Yes. I know. But you know that he gets very fearful about certain-"

"Logan. Don't." Virgil interrupted him, shaking his head. Roman huffed, "Surprisingly I actually feel involved because I know what you're suggesting. And I agree with J.Delightful here. Don't push it."

"I am not pushing anything, Roman. I am just declaring-"

"Well, don't." Virgil stated before standing up. "Since you're so.. cautious. I will check his room now." He then walked up the hallway and knocking Patton's door. "Dad?" He called out before pulling it open, seeing him still asleep curled up to a dog plush. He could only smile lightly before looking around the room, before narrowing his eyes. Why was Logan so cautious? Nothing was here. He was fine.

He walked back out, closing the door behind him and headed back into the main room. "You thought.. he was in there?" Virgil asked and Logan cleared his throat, his nose stuck in his astrology book before nodding. "I did. But I misinterpreted. I apologise for making you have to even think about it."

Roman frowned. "We should still remain cautious. We know how vulnerable Patton gets when he is emotional." Virgil nodded, as did Logan before sighing.

"We should all head to our rooms to get a frequent sleep. Virgil. Please try to get some rest tonight." Logan gave a half smile towards Virgil, and he shrugged. "No promises." He stated before standing up and heading to his room silently. Roman waved towards Logan as the two split into their own rooms.

And throughout the silent night, one thing was heard.

A small hiss.
