hey guys! Be prepared to go back and forth from present to past just because in order for me to get across both Lily and Ian's experiences from their past. It'll make sense later just bare with me on some occasional flashbacks... _______________________________
I woke up around 8:25 am and got up slowly trying not to wake up Lily. I head downstairs to start making Lily's favorite... pancakes! My parents have work on the weekends so I make breakfast for us.
After a half an hour of making a big stack of pancakes to enjoy, I hear Lily walking down the stairs.
Lily walks up rubbing her eyes from just waking up. She had messy hair and Winnie the Pooh pajamas on. How can one be so soft looking almost all the time? That... I'll never understand.
As she was walking up to the barstool I said "Morning! I made your favorite...."
"PANCAKES!" We scream at the same time then start laughing a little too hard. Just being slap happy from being sleepy.
She took 2 pancakes and added all of the toppings she could. I thought that'd be a good chance to snap a photo.

"Hey! At least let me pose or go get ready first so I can get in the photo!" She whines.
I laugh and say, "Too late! I honestly think the pancakes look better than you anyways!!."
Her mouth drops and screams, "NUH UH!" and shoves a whole pancake in her mouth out of 'anger'. I fall to the floor laughing so hard at the syrup messily on her face with a pouty expression.
I stand back up and we ate the rest of our pancakes in comfortable silence. I head upstairs to get ready.
I got in the shower feeling the hot water hit my skin.
I walk into my room to get dressed. I choose a black t-shirt, a pale flannel tucked in but not buttoned up so it just falls open, in blue jeans with a black belt and some yellow Converse.
I head back down and it looks like Lily walked home to get changed. I grab my car keys and drive over to Lily's house to pick her up.

Lily's POV...
After I left Ian's house, I came into my room and I need to think about what I should wear. I always have a hard time trying to pick out an outfit because I feel like I have to be the top of my game. For many reasons: to impress Ian, look up to par with Ian cause he just flawlessly gets dressed, look good for Instagram posts, or there is a possibility that we are going to run into someone that we know!
I probably stress too much about how I dress just for bowling but I do. But I quickly pick out I finally decided on wearing a black long-sleeved turtle neck, with a white graphic on top, with blue jeans and a black fabric belt. I thought about wearing my hair down but a bun looked cuter with the turtle neck.
As I was thinking I am snapped out of my thoughts from the honk outside... I guess Ian is here.
