13- Our Song

Lily's POV-

I grab both mugs and walk back to the bedroom. I don't know how I'm going to confront him. I don't know how I feel. I guess I have felt differently around Ian this year.

I wouldn't say I like him.

I mean...

No. I could never do that. I have never felt this way and have a friendship so close before. I wouldn't want to ruin something this special. With some random feeling that will probably go away soon.

Once I get to the room, I find my MacBook from inside my bag and sit on my side of the bed. Pulling the covers over my lap, getting comfortable. I open up my Spotify and play some music from a playlist called, "Rock out🔥💯". I normally don't listen to stuff like this often but I felt like rocking to some hand bangers. This really loud song came on. I get so into it zoning everything out and just screaming my heart out.

I suddenly feel someone watching me.

I open my eyes to a half naked Ian. His waist wrapped in a blue towel. Still shiny from the hot water. Showing his toned stomach. Shaking his hair in a towel to dry it out. Making him look ten times hotter.

I gasp and quickly look away

All I can hear right now, is my heart beating out of my chest. I feel heat begin to rise on my cheeks. I look at my laptop and turn down the music, trying to avoid eye contact.

Seeing him suddenly put on a white t-shirt. I look up at him, he smiles, his million dollar smile, sending chills down my neck.

"Lils!" I suddenly snap out of my thoughts.

"Could you turn around? I'm gonna put on my pants." He asks looking away... blushing? Why is he blushing? He's all confident a second ago and now he's a adorable mess. I'm happy he hasn't changed.

I nod, "y-yeah sure". Why did I stutter? I shake my head and cover my eyes with my hands.

After a minute or so I feel the bed dip in the empty space next to me. "Can I open my eyes now?" I calmly ask trying to not see anything I don't want too.

"Wait! Give me a second" He says in a giggle.

I smile, knowing my Ian is back. I feel my laptop get ripped from my lap. The clicking of the keys on the keyboard and suddenly hear...

You and I by One direction. I almost tear up, cause it was the first song we both said we liked went we started talking. The first day of freshman year we listened to this all lunch. Laughing and lip syncing like we were all of the guys singing.

I hear a soft, "open" from Ian.

I slowly take my hands off my face. I see him sitting there with a basket. I look at the basket and then at his eyes with a confused expression. He laughs and taps my knee. "Get your shoes on." He said smiling.

"Where are we going?" questioning him.

"It's a surprise... you'll love it" he said getting his shoes on. Already out the door. I hurry up and get my shoes. Trying to not to be left behind.

What is he planning to do this late of hour? It's almost 11:30pm. I grab a jacket cause it seems like we are going outside.
