Peter and Tony had been sitting in silence for a while. It didn't bother either of them but Peter soon turned in his chair to face Tony.

"What do I do if I'm in love with my best friend?" He blurted out without really thinking but also wanting an answer.

"Well do you think she likes you back?" He asked with a small smile as he turned to look at him.

"I doubt it," Peter said not knowing how he'd react if he knew he liked a guy.

"I don't know Pete, just don't rush into it and don't blurt it out like you just did," he said still smiling slightly.

"That's something I do a lot," he said with a nervous smile. "If I just ignore this, will it go away?"

"No. I don't think so," he said causing Peter to sigh and stand up.

Peter could feel Tony watching him walk over to the couch and sit down on the ground in front, pulling his knees to his chest.

"Why does all this have to be so hard? He's my best friend, he's been my only friend for so long. I can't.." he stopped he just realised he told Tony he liked Ned, "I..I can't do that to her."

He didn't know what Tony was like but he didn't want to give him the chance to hate him. Peter saw his face had changed to an understanding look, he stood up and walked over.

"Your best friend is a guy, right?" He asked as he sat down on the floor next to him.

"Yeah," he sighed looking at his fidgeting hands.

"There's nothing wrong with that kid," he said with a comforting smile, "I understand you not wanting to tell me, but I'm not going to think any differently of you because of that."

"Thanks," he said with a small smile, "your the first person I've really told about this. Please don't tell May."

"That's your thing to tell not mine, don't worry I won't." He knew Peter didn't mean to tell him but he was still happy that he trusted him. "How long have you known you were gay."

"I don't know if I am, maybe I'm bi..? Why has all this shit gotta be so confusing?"

"I don't know kid, but you'll figure it out, I know you will. And until you do, I'll be here," he said with a comforting smile.

"Thank you," Peter said with a smile back as his phone pinged. "That's probably May," he said as he stood up and walked over.

May: Ordering dinner now

"Shit it's already five," Peter said before he put his phone in his pocket, "you need help cleaning up?"

"It's alright you go, I'll do it," Tony said as he stood up.

"Thank you Mr Stark, for all that. See you Wednesday?"

"Yeah see you Wednesday," Tony smiled as Peter was about to walk out the door. "Pete? Don't ignore your feelings, it's only gonna hurt you more."

Peter nodded and continued out the door, he didn't know if he was going to tell Ned. He couldn't.

He wouldn't like me back right?

After Peter got home and ate most all of his dinner and done some homework before deciding it was a good enough time to go on patrol.

He got out of his clothes, shouted out the door to May, only to be told be be back for midnight. He webbed through the streets, loving the feeling he got.
