Peter had been awake for a while before his alarm. He got out of bed, got dressed in a hoodie and jeans. And brushed his teeth quickly before leaving his room, going to the kitchen to see Rhodey making himself cereal.

"Morning Pete," he said with a smile.

"Morning, do you know if Mr Stark's awake?"

"Probably not, mornings aren't his thing," he said sitting down as Tony walked in from the lab looking like he'd just woke up. "I don't think I've ever seen him up this early. Your good for him," he said to Peter quietly.

"What time have you got to be there for?" Tony asked as he got himself a coffee.

"Nine," Peter said as Tony looked at the time on his phone.

"Shit. We gotta go," he yawned as he left his coffee and picked up his closet set of keys. "See you when I get back," he said to Rhodey.

They both got the car and Tony began to drive. "I see my therapist at the same place, I know there's a food court. So I'm gonna get us breakfast for when you get out, what're you wanting?" He asked after a while if silence.

"I'm not hungry," Peter mumbled.

"You hardly had anything last night," Tony always noticed he was a skinny kid but he had always told himself that it was because of his metabolism but now he wasn't so sure.

"I'll eat at lunch, promise."

"Uhh huh," Tony said giving him a look. "Your therapist gonna say anything about that?" He asked pointing to his eye when he stopped at a red light.

Peter shook his head no, "she's used to it. She knows I'm SpiderMan, she kinda had to."

"Why's that?"

"She does my meds, my dose has to be like tripled or something for them to actually do anything," he said putting his head back looking at him.

"Yeah your metabolism, I almost forgot about that. Means you should definitely be hungry."

Peter just sighed and started fidgeting with a thread on his hoodie. Tony noticed and didn't say anything else knowing he'd talk if he wanted.

After Peter saw his therapist Tony brought him to school. He made his way to his class, which was chemistry where he retook yesterday's test.

Lunch was after, he made his way to the cafeteria with Ned and Mj. Peter and Mj sat down at the only empty table while Ned and Aaron got their lunch.

"You okay?" Mj asked when they were alone.

"I'm fine," he said looking up, "why?"

"You were late in, you have a black eye and you were acting kinda weird yesterday."

"I'm fine," he lied with a small sigh. "You okay?"

"I'm fine," she lied moving uncomfortably in her seat.

"Mj..."

"I am," she said more angrily than before.

Peter knew he should drop it for now so he did. He knew he was like that with Ned when things were at their worst for him. He looked away from the table to see Betty walking towards them.

"Hey," she said once she got there. "Ned said it was alright to sit with you guys."

"It's fine with me," Mj said with a small smile before she sat a seat apart from her.

She must be Ned's girlfriend.

Peter didn't want her to sit there, he didn't want Ned to be dating Betty. He didn't want Ned dating anyone, anyone but him. But he knew he'd have to just live with it. And that just hurt him more.
