Regina's POV

There's a knock on my door. I grab my keys and purse. I get Henry and we head out. I walk out and lock the door. Woah it's cold.

"Mommy cold."

"Yeah I know baby." I say and the breeze blows.

"Come here kid." Emma picks him up and rubs his back and arms.

"Wawmew."

"Warmer?" She asks me and I nod.

"Morning." I ask.

"Morning beautiful." I blush.

"Let's go." We get to her car and I gasp.

"I don't have a car seat for Henry."

"I got one last night."

"You didn't have to."

"I wanted to it's no big deal."

"No seriously. I'll pay you back. How much was it?"

"Regina don't. My gift to you okay?"

"Emma I really don't."

"Please. It's not a big deal. I promise. It's just a car seat."

"Okay." She puts him in and gets my door. I smile and get in.

"Yewo."

"Yeah my bug is yellow kid."

"Bug?!" He asks and I laugh.

"It's the car. It's called a Volkswagen Beetle and since beetle is a bug I call it a bug for short. Easier."

"Easiew." Henry says and nods. I smile.

"You're good with him."

"He's just like me."

"I can see that."

"Meanie." She says and I laugh.

"And a beetle is a type of insect." I say and she smiles at me.

"Can I hold your hand?" I nod and she holds it. She intertwines our fingers and I blush.

"Holding hands is fine."

"How about if I kiss you?" She asks but I know she's only teasing.

"I'm not ready." I say and she smiles.

"It's okay. I'll wait." I smile and she squeezes my hand.

"Mommy beaw cwa?"

"Yes you can have a bear claw when we get there but for dinner baby can you eat some corn and green beans?" I ask and he gives me a look.

"Supewhewoes eat con, gweebbeans?"

"I don't know what superheroes eat Henry."

"Of course they do kid. How else would they be super strong. Green stuff doesn't always taste the best but it will make you strong."

"I eat it." I smile.

"Thank you."

"Anything to help." We get there and then head inside. It's early. I sigh at the warmth in here.

"Bear claw?" I ask Emma.

"One for me and the kid. With hot cocoa?" She asks and I nod.

"You're amazing."

"I'm not."

"Mazin mommy!" Emma nods.

"Good job!" Emma says to Henry. He high fives her and she picks him up and goes to the table they sat at yesterday in the back.

"So Emma drove you here?"

"She didn't want Henry and I to get sick." I say and Ruby screams.

"You two are so cute! Please go out with her! Please Reg."

"I don't know. I'm still scared."

"I hear she walked you home last night."

"Granny." I whine and she smiles at me.

"Oh hush child."

"She likes you a lot." I look out and Emma smiles at Henry.

"Go give them food please and their cocoa."

"Okay." Ruby says smiling.

"No I'll do it before you say something stupid." She smirks. I get their drinks and food. I make Henry's a bit colder. With some ice.

"Here." I set them down.

"Sit with me for a minute?"

"I should get to work you know."

"No one is here yet."

"But the morning rush."

"She can sit and this comes from her boss!" I look back and Granny smiles. I glare at her. And then sit across from the taller woman.

"No sit by me."

"I'm not ready yet. I'm nervous like this. I can't be next to you yet."

"Okay small steps." I nod.

"Can I hold your hand?" She asks again.

"Holding hands is fine." I repeat from what I said earlier.

"That's what I hear." I smile and we both chuckle.

"How'd you sleep?" She asks.

"Oh me? I could barely sleep. I was so excited to see you and the kid again. No joke."

"You exaggerate."

"No. I like seeing you."

"Cause I'm so beautiful?" I ask in a mocking tone.

"Don't mock me. It's true and everyone knows it. Right kid?"

"Mommy butiful!"

"Well so course."

"Sooooo pwetty." He says holding the 'o' for too long and it's adorable.

"Gorgeous even." I blush.

"Hush." The door opens and people walk in.

"Work calls."

"Kissy mommy." I smile and kiss his head.

"No kiss yet?" I look at her and blush. She smiles.

"Joking, when I said I'll wait. I meant it. Until you're ready I'm perfectly fine holding hands with you." I smile I softly kiss her cheek and rush away blushing so hard.

"You two are so cute."

"Stop. I'm so embarrassing. I can't even kiss her!"

"Shh now go to table 5." Ruby says and I pout.
