chapter ten

Regina's POV

Around 2 the door jingles and I see Emma. I quickly hug her and she holds me tight.

"I'm fine. We arrested him."

"Positive?"

"No gun wounds and I didn't get too close to him. I promise I'm as good a new." I nod and hug her again.

"Lunch?" I nod and get her order and Henry's as well as mine. I set our food down.

"Mommy I only want fries."

"Why?" I ask and he looks down.

"Not hungry."

"You're always hungry honey." I say and he eats a fry. I look at Emma nervously and she puts her hand on mine.

"It's okay. Maybe he's just feeling sick or something."

"I hope not."

"It's okay." I nod and kiss her cheek. I look at Henry and he looks fine.

"What about cocoa?" I ask and he nods eagerly.

"Okay." I stand and ask Ruby who nods.

Emma's POV

I walk into Granny's and smile seeing Ruby.

"Hey Emma."

"Hey can you talk for sec?" She nods and I follow her.

"Christmas is getting pretty close. I want to get Regina some stuff...."

"She's not going to like it."

"I know she doesn't like getting gifts. But she said I can do five for her and ten for Henry."

"Did you do Henry already?"

"I got him a ton of lego sets. Some vintage collectible cars. Superhero boxers. Then shorts and socks and some shoes."

"How many Emma?"

"6 cars. 10 boxers. 20 shorts, about 20 pairs of socks and eight shoes."

"Emma!"

"I know but everything is so tiny and cute and so cheap. They are like 50 bucks for shoes. I had to."

"And the legos?"

"12 sets."

"She's gonna flip."

"I know, I know. She told me the ones she got him so I didn't get them. I'm going to say most of his toys are from Santa."

"Fine let's hit the mall." I smile and we head out.

"Alright victorious secret." I say walking in.

"Ohh red looks amazing on Regina." I turn to see a red lingerie set.

"I love red on her and that's nice. But I don't want her to think I want to have sex with her. This is still new."

"Oh very smart. But don't you? I mean you're a grown woman. And Regina's hot."

"Nah. She wants to wait, I'll wait. I mean of course I've thought about it. She's very sexy. So beautiful. Her curves are just mind blowing but I would never if she didn't want to. And I don't want to get that and she thinks we need to have sex. I'm fine waiting until she wants it."

"That's sweet. Perfume?" I nod and I get some mature smelling ones. With the sets of lotion and body wash. I pay and then we head out.

"Next store. Forever 21."

"Why?"

"Socks." Ruby nods and I get her a ton of socks. Like a ton. She likes fuzzy ones and she needs some Christmas ones too.
