Sara's P.O.V

It's been a whole week since I arrived at the academy and I'm currently in weaponry class about to start a duel with one of my classmates. The days have been getting easier I am not as tried as I was on my first day and I found out on my second day of classes that we have magic class in which we learn to harness the power of our dragons. Revlon can control all four elements but since only the King and Queens can control the elements I have to practice with Rev at night when nobody is watching. So in class, I told the teacher that his power is strength, where in reality I'm using his control over earth element to lift up boulders.

" Ready one, two, three duel," Our teacher said bringing me back to the present as my duelling partner swung his sword towards me.

After weaponry, the whole academy was asked to gather in the field behind the academy with our dragons. When everyone was accounted for it was announced that it was time for the academy's monthly dragon race. The rules were read out to refresh everyone's memory or inform the newest people here. Everyone was split into groups of ten and whoever won each race would go up against the other winners in a final race to determine the winner. This is going to be interesting because I have never ridden Revlon this fast before and I have no idea how fast he can go. Interesting enough I got grouped with Tegan.

The first group got called and finished in under ten minutes then our group got called up.

" Get ready to eat my dust Sara" Tegan called as we lined up with our group

" Not if your eating mine" I yelled as the teacher yelled out to go and we were off

The course was a lot trickier then I was expecting but Revlon navigated it like he had been flying these forests his whole life. Ten minutes later we saw the finish line and crossed over it and looking behind us I saw that we were the first to cross over.

The second race I was up against four other riders in group three and who won this race determined who was in the last race to declare the winner.

While we were waiting for our group to be called Tegan came over and told me that the Headmasters son had won five times in a row so if I win this race I would have to go up against him. I heard our group being called over and Tegan yelling good luck.

" Go" And we were off the course was a bit easier this time and we crossed the finish line thirty seconds before the rest of our group.

In the final race, I was up against Ryan the headmaster's son who rode a golden dragon and a guy called Seth who rode a red dragon.

" Are you ready?" Tegan asked me as I mounted Rev

" As I'll ever be, see you at the finish line," I said as we were called to line up

" On your marks,"

" Get set,"

" GO!"

And we were off Rev came up with a plan to stay behind to watch what the others were doing and follow there lead until we see the finish line. Two minutes into the race we reached the forest which Revon remembered the fastest way through and dodged all the trees and branches in record time. We broke through the forest line and saw the sea stacks. The fastest way through them was straight through the middle of them and as close to the water as we could get and so Rev dived straight down and pulled up just before we hit the water and quickly made his way through them. We quickly came to a stop before shooting straight up the cliff face that was in front of us and once we got to the top we saw Ryan headed straight for the finish line.
