Edison's PoV
It's been 1 week but I never once thought of Marie not did she past my thoughts. But what I remember and always on my mind is what Lyn and RJ said. RJ had always had feelings for my girl ever since I introduced him to her. Why didn't he tell me though? Is it because he liked her and seeing her happy is what she always wanted? Lyn why choose to get hurt when I'm here beside you at that time? Why choose to let go instead of fight? Did you even love me like how I loved you or did you just played with my feelings as everybody does? RJ and Lyn, you both are one of a hella quiz I can't find the right answer.

Edison:
We need to talk bud.

RJ:
Sure, just send me the location, time and I'll meet ya there.

Edison:
Right now at the river where I introduced you to Lyn.

RJ:
See ya there bud.

"Alex! Come on down! It's breakfast already!" I went down all dressed up and ready to leave.

"Mom, I'll be having breakfast outside and I'm be meeting a friend of mine right now."

"Okay then, be careful." I went out and went to the river where I first introduced him to her. 

"Hey bud" He was about to hug me in a brotherly way but he saw that I wasn't in the mood and immediately stop himself from doing that. 

"Let's sit first." I walk ahead to the near bench and sat, he followed and did the same.

"So what is this sudden meet up all about?"

"This is about you having feelings for Lyn. Why didn't you tell her nor me?"

"Because your my friend and she is your girlfriend, she's yours and your hers Alex. I hide the truth from both of you because I know that if I confessed the truth something will change, so I've decided to hid it from you both. I don't want our friendship end like how you two ended."

Flashback

"Ed, I'm sorry." She was looking at me while almost crying, she was broken but I didn't know why.

"Why are you sorry Lyn?"

"I'm breaking up with you, I'm so sorry Ed. I don't love you anymore." She runs away after she said that but I ran after she and I hugged her from behind making her stop from running.

"Let me go! Ed, I beg you to let me go! We're over!" She tried to escape but I only tighten my hug for her.

"Nooo, please this isn't true. This is just a dream, a sad heart-breaking dream. Please tell me it's all a dream, I can't lose you, Lyn. Not you too, never." I was crying and so was she. The rain was already falling just as our tears are falling from our eyes.

"This isn't a dream Ed! Wake up, I don't love you anymore! So please just please let me go, Ed, you shouldn't be seeing me like this!"

"But why Lyn! I know you're choosing them over me, Lyn why them? Stop choosing other people for me nor for yourself. The world is big Lyn, I know you can't own me but you can love me like how I love you now! I won't let you go, never Lyn. I can't let you leave me too." Lyn elbowed me in my stomach making yelp and walk backward while she's running forward. I was about to follow her but the stoplight is color Red means I have to stop and that's the very last time I saw her as a lover.

End

After being together for almost 9 months she just gives up on us but why Lyn left me when she still loves me at that time? Why did you lie to me, Lyn? What's the real reason why we break up?

"But why did she break up with me when she still loves me at that time?" He looked a bit taken back and looks like he is hesitating whether tell me or not.

"Please tell me the truth RJ, I also deserve to know the truth why we really broke up." I was begging but RJ suddenly had a phone call making him look, walk away for a while and answer it. Minutes later he came back.

"Sorry, bud but I have to meet someone. I need to go now, bye bud. Take care on your way back." Before I can even say a word he already ran away. I followed him just by walking and I saw him waiting for... Lyn? Why are you meeting with RJ? What is going on with you two exactly? Lyn happens to look at where I am and I think she saw me because RJ looked at where I was.

"Alex!" RJ shouted as my cue to come closer to them and I did.

"Were you following me?"

"You see were together a while ago?" Lyn asked while looking at me in the eye.

"Yes, we were just talking about-" I cut RJ off before he can say something about what we talked about earlier.

"No, I was just walking by to go to the restaurant over there for breakfast and I happen to see you both. Well-" My words were cut off when Lyn suddenly spoke.

"811." I looked at RJ and he looked disappointed at me.

"Okay, what is 811 exactly? RJ? Care to explain? And why do you look so disappointed with my answer?" He was supposed to answer but Lyn spoke first.

"Enjoy your breakfast then, RJ let's go." She just walks past me like we never had something before. Why does my heartache when she does that?

"Bud? Quite disappointing me will ya. 811 means lie, I need to go bye bud." RJ walked past me to catch up with Lyn. I turned around and saw Lyn smiling while laughing at RJ, I wonder why. I used to do that before too, smile with her, laugh with her, blush with her and more. WAIT WHAT!? Edison you shouldn't be bringing the past back anymore cuz past is past! You don't love her anymore... Right?

Alex:
Show her whatever it takes that you'll not leave her side. And is worthy of a chance they all have given you. Don't disappoint her like what I did. Love her more than what I have shown her. You don't have to worry since I won't be an occlusion to you both. No more lies bud, take care of her and I'll be supporting from afar.

RJ:
I won't disappoint her I promise, I won't even hurt her, I will love her as long as she will be mine, you were never an occlusion Alex and I'll take care of her. Thanks for the support bud, I really need it right now since we have a date. Well bye bud, thanks again.

Days and weeks had already past since I broke up with Marie. I thought she really loved me but the truth was she was only using me to get back to her ex. Lyn was right, Marie never once loved me like how Lyn loved me before. Lyn, please. I need you right now, why having a date with RJ when I'm down?

Flashback

"You know, Marie is only using you to get back with her ex right?" I looked at her, shock by what she said

"What! No! Marie would never do that. Stop telling lies, Lyn! You're the one who decided to break up with me so why bother my life right now? Don't bother my life because I never bother yours nor ask about your personal life being told or shared by everyone on our campus."

"I'm not vilifying your life, Alex, I'm just telling the truth that she's just playing with you. And I hope that if I'm right then don't come looking for me. I also hope that you'll realize that it's really the truth and believe me for once." She walked away like it's nothing like we never talked. I didn't know that time that it was the truth that I kept on denying it. I never thought after she broke up with me she will still tell me the truth and not just lie to me like before. I don't really know what's the reason why we broke up, who's the main reason for it.

Why did you say the truth to me, you could have just not said it, hide the truth but why choose to not just let me know it by myself? You're really one of the most difficult flowers to find and the most difficult flowers to examine with not just only by using telescopes and experiments.
