"Could I use your shower?" Radlynn asked as she watched Radley make dinner. She'd honestly been a little surprised when he left the room he'd been holing up in all afternoon. She thought he was going to stay there all day. He glanced over his shoulder at her.
"Sure," he replied as he put the food in the oven. "Oh, there's towels you can use in my room, if you need them." He added. Radlynn nodded and watched him clean away.
"Where did you learn to cook?" She asked curiously.
"Cook books." He turned around and walked over to the couch. She followed after him.
"Oh." Yeah, that made sense. "So what were you doing all day, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Work." He replied as he grabbed the tv remote.
"So that room is your workshop?" Radlynn asked. Radley nodded and turned on the tv. "Do you build things there?"
He looked over at her. "...do you always ask this many questions?"
"Oh-" she shifted on her spot on the couch. "Sorry."
He sighed. "It's fine." Radlynn went quiet then and didn't really talk much until after dinner.

"I'm uh- gonna go shower now." She finally spoke after they'd both finished eating. Radley just nodded simply and didn't look up from the dishes he was washing. She moved over to his room.
"Radlynn?" She looked over at him. "I could clean your clothes for you if you'd like." He offered. She looked down at her clothes and-
"Oh my god I'm filthy-" she stared at the stains covering her clothing. Various sauces, ice cream and cave dust clung to her. "uh- that'd be great." She murmured.
"Leave them in my room." He called back. She frowned.
"Then what'll I wear going around the house?" Radley looked up at her for a second.
"A towel?" He went back to the dishes. Oh, right.
Radley's bathroom was a lot nicer than she expected it to be. Definitely bigger too. It was a simple room, with tiled walls and floor, plus the necessities. It was fit for a house, or a really nice apartment. The only flaw, strangely, was the mirror. It was horribly cracked, and broken completely in some places. It also didn't look like it'd been cleaned in a long, long time, judging by the miscellaneous stains on it.
She didn't linger on it for very long, however. Getting clean was her first priority.
She stepped out of the bathroom half an hour later, feeling much better. Radley's shower was nice, even if it was a little old fashioned. The hot water seemed to be limited. Radlynn sure hoped Radley wasn't planning on showering after her.
Speaking of Radley, he was curled up in one of the armchairs in his living room. She stepped over the carpeted floor and looked at him. "...are you sewing?" She asked. He moved his head up, finally sparing her a glance.
"There's holes in your clothes." He replied simply.
"Oh," she looked at the pile of clothing sitting on the coffee table. "...You're gonna fix all of them?" She asked. Radley nodded.
"Why wouldn't I?"
Radlynn sat down on the arm of the couch and watched him work. "I didn't think you'd be the kind of person to like sewing." She mused.
"Well it's calming," he murmured. "And everyone needs a hobby."
Radlynn tilted her head at him. "I guess." she eyed him curiously, but said nothing. Radley finished up, and folded up the skirt he was fixing. He placed it down on the coffee table, then finally looked her.
"You can get dressed now," he said. "You'll get cold in the towel." Radlynn's eyes widened. She'd forgotten she wasn't wearing anything.
"Oh- right," she stood up abruptly and grabbed her things. She walked towards his room, assuming he was probably okay with her using it for getting changed. She stopped and looked over at him. "Thanks for fixing those holes, by the way." Radley just shrugged.

Radlynn huffed as she glanced around the bedroom for the final time. "Nope, not here." She thought as she stepped out of Radley's room and looked at him. "Hey Radley?" He glanced up at her and- "Oh my god is he knitting? Radley Madish knits? I knew he was old but he's not old old-"
"Did you need something?" He asked. Radlynn blinked beneath the bangs of hair covering her eyes.
"Have you seen my hat? I'm pretty sure I left it with the other clothes." She asked.
"Oh-!" He reached over and grabbed something that was sitting on the arm of his chair. "I had to wash it seperatley from the other clothes because of the wool. I didn't want to damage it so-" Radlynn took her hat from him. "I noticed the wool was fraying, so I used some fabric softener, so it might smell a bit weird." He smiled at her.
"Wow," Radlynn had never really put a thought into cleaning her hat, she just threw it in with the rest of the laundry. "Thank you." He simply shrugged again, though Radlynn swore she saw him smile, just a bit, for a second or two.
"It's no problem."
