AN: This chapter was supposed to be longer but I've been busy with finishing up school and starting my Christmas work placement so it's been split into two parts. Sorry about that!!

Radley blinked tiredly as he woke up. He yawned softly and stared at the ceiling for a few moments before sighing. Then he felt something move against him. He looked down and- oh.
Oh god.

Radlynn had her head resting on his shoulder and her hand on his chest and- oh dear god his hand was on her hip. She was fast asleep. Blissfully unaware of the internal panic she was causing for Radley. He glanced away from her, unsure of what to do. He'd fallen asleep on his side last night so at some point he must've rolled onto his back, so she probably hugged him, right? That meant he wasn't doing anything wrong.

But it still felt wrong. And awkward. And bad. He shifted slightly, and heard Radlynn groan. He froze again. Okay so moving was definitely out of the question. Would she be mad at him when she woke up? Probably. He was weird! She'd be horrified, curled up next to someone as disgusting as him. He bit his lip nervously and stared at the ceiling. In all his anxiety he barely managed to notice Radlynn yawning and stretching below him. He looked down in surprise.

"G'morning," She murmured softly. Her voice was so calm and gentle. She looked up at him and smiled. Not mad at all. Radley relaxed just a bit. She brushed hair out of her eyes and sighed out. "I forgot how nice sleeping in a bed feels." She murmured.

He pulled his hand off her hip and glanced aside. "Mmm." He replied. Anything to avoid actually conversing. Radlynn stretched and yawned, then sat up, rubbing at her eyes. Radley sat up too and fiddled with his hands nervously, still avoiding looking at her. Radlynn frowned and moved closer, looking at him. She placed her hand on his cheek and forced his face to hers. Radley gasped quietly in surprise as she frowned at him.

"Your eye is getting better." She said. Radley stared at her and- oh god her eyes are pretty. He'd never seen them before. One of her eyes was a bright greenish blue colour that seemed to sparkle somehow. The other was brown, with little gold specks in the iris. He stared at her in admiration of how beautiful she was and-

The nausea kicked in and he bolted from the bed. Radlynn stared after him in shock for a few moments, then quickly followed after him. "Radley?" She called out. She could hear coughing noises from the bathroom.

Radley was knelt on the bathroom floor wiping at his mouth with some toilet paper. He looked up at her and glanced aside. "Sorry I- eye contact makes me nauseous..." He murmured apologetically. Her eyes widened in shock.

"Oh-!" She shifted awkwardly. "Sorry about that-"

"No, no, it's not your fault." He cut in quickly. "I've- I've always been like that, honestly." He chuckled sheepishly and wrung his hands together nervously.

Radlynn nodded and looked over her shoulder to the kitchen. "Well um- how about I make breakfast to make it up to you?" She chirped.

Radley opened his mouth to answer, then suddenly got to his feet rather quickly. "Or- or um- we could go somewhere for breakfast," he suggested. Radlynn arched a brow. "Think of it as repayment for working so hard around the house the past few days."

"That sounds gr- wait," Radlynn looked at him frowning. "Don't you hate going into towns?"

"...uh, yes but- I'd be willing to try...for you..." He nudged at the ground with his foot and glanced away, fiddling with his hands.

Radlynn pursed her lips in thought, then grinned. "We could have a picnic instead!" She chirped. Radley's eyes widened in surprise and he looked up at her. He smiled a little.

"That...sounds nice."
