"We are gathered here today to mourn a great loss. Someone who showed us what it's like to be different from the social norms. She offered advice to people whiteout even acknowledging it herself. She was someone who I, cherished and loved. She was sassy and explosive, but calm and reserved. She had many of doubts about herself and peers, but she never gave in. She stuck to her lifeline without ever pulling the cord to her doom. She was mistreated and judged by others who didn't understand how a person couldn't be one of them.

But, that made her perfect. Losing her father and in the care of a lowlife grieving mother who'd rather blame than to mourn, she fought. Through it all. Now that all of you are here I feel like I can truly say this from the bottom of my heart. All of y'all are disgusting and disgraceful for even thinking you could show up here, acting like you actually knew her and felt like you should be sad. No! All of you should feel ashamed about not only yourself but how you treated her in the process. She lost everything and you used her, beat her up for trying the best she could. Her weight had nothing to even do with it. You were just be selfish and discouraging. I'm ashamed of everyone who's here,

Including myself.

Thank You. Much love to Vanya." I finished my speech leaving the crowed area shocked and in despair as they cried, pretending to actually care. I had to go through everything by MYSELF.

I had to set up everything for this funeral and plan it out. The only help I got was from my parents and that was the money aspect of it.

It was a long drawn out process and very stress inducing one at that.

I got to the hospital after stating my final statement to the police after what happened.

When I walked up to the front desk there was a lady click-clacking on the keyboard. She didn't look up at all, not even for a second. "I'm looking for Vanya Hanes, please." She looked up finally after I waited for a couple of minutes. "Okay" She murmured, like I was the one being rude. I would've snapped at her, but I didn't have the time or energy.

I was drained, mentally.

"Room 302" the lady monotoned boredly. But this was anything but bored. Vanya could be dying for all I know and she's taking her sweet ass time to tell me what room she's in.

I walked down the corridor to my left and kept on till I stopped at an elevator. I stepped in and pressed the 4th floor, riding it up until I heard the ding sound. I made my way out of the elevator rushing, but not running towards the room.

I was scared...

300

301

302...

I stopped upon the closed door, it seemingly getter smaller and smaller as I stared at it with a soft gaze.

What will I be expecting?

What will will I witness once I open this door?

Guess I'll just have to find out.

I creeped my hand up to the doorknob, ready to press it down softly and carefully not wanting to disturb any movement in the room. I pressed on the door, it screeched as I opened more. Foot after foot, step after step, I inched my way around the way that would determine the condition of Vanya.

I peeked my head out, complete utter shock filled my body. My vison blurred as I looked in horror.

She was attached to a breathing tube, her head was wrapped in a white cloth, her eyes were closed gently as if she was just sleeping, but I felt like it wasn't sleep she was in that had her beautiful eyes closed.
