Chapter twenty-two

22.

The exams had finally ended and I hadn't hear from my mom since the incident, not that I wanted to anyway. Luke and I had both graduated high school and were now at home most days preparing for our baby to come, we had almost everything we needed and we were nearly fully prepared. There were baby clothes all over the house, so many people had given us gifts and fans had sent so many boxes filled with bottles, bags, clothes, teddies and a whole load more, it was kinda surreal

"I know what we haven't gotten" luke said walking into me

"What?" I asked, we knew we were missing something but we couldn't put our fingers on it

"A stroller" he said

"Oh yeah! The most obvious thing we forget" I laughed

"Okay well do you want to go get it now? I can drive us" he said

"Okay" I said getting up and walking to the front door

As we drove to the town where the shopping centre was we talked about Sydney, I don't know how it came up but then again me and luke always talk about weird things

"I want to go back to Sydney, we had such a good time there" luke said

I laughed and looked to him

"What?" He laughed

"Of course we had a good time" I smirked

He laughed and slowed down as we came to the lights

"I miss that" he said laughing but serious

"What the..?" I said looking at him

"No no well yes but just having time and not worrying and staying up all night" he laughed

"We can still do all that! I'm up for it any time" I said

"Okay well how about tonight we stay up all night like we did in Sydney and when we go shopping you can get all the food you want, how does that sound?" He asked looking to me

"Perfect" I smiled

It was evident he missed spending time with me as much as I missed spending time with him. He smiled at me and continued driving until we reached the centre. As we got into the centre we got approached by a few fans asking for pictures which we happily took. Afterwards we decided to get all the food first and then go to get the stroller. We walked in and luke got a basket to fill with food

"What do you want?" He asked picking up a whole load of Twizzlers and putting them into the basket

"Reese's pieces" I said picking up a bag and putting them in

"Alexa you can get more than one bag" he laughed picking up another three

"I don't want to spend all your money seriously" I said, I felt so bad with luke constantly buying me stuff

He turned to me and looked me in the eyes

"Alexa I made a promise to myself that I would treat you like a princess and get you everything you want and look after you as long as I live because I know no matter what happens I will never ever love anyone as much as I love you, so let me get you whatever you want please" he said

I sighed a little but couldn't say no

"Fine fine, but for the record I'll never love any other guy as much as you" I said

He smiled and continued to load the basket with mountains of more sweets and drinks. Soon enough we got to the till and the women at the check out looked at all the food and then gave us a look of "is this seriously all for you?" Which sent luke and I into hysterics of laughing

"Her face" luke said walking away laughing

"I know" I laughed hard

"Come on let's quickly go into the baby shop" he said walking in

We quickly looked around at strollers and soon enough found the perfect one we both loved. It was pink and white with baby pink flowers and teddies around it. We went and bought it and carried it back out to the car

"So what did you buy?" Gina asked as we walked back into the house

We showed her the stroller and a smile spread across her face

"It's so cute I love it!" She squealed

"What else did you guys buy?" She asked going over to the two huge bags filled with food

"What's all this for?" She laughed

"Luke might of went a bit overboard" I laughed

He shrugged and put one arm around me

"We're just gonna watch a movie so I bought some food" he said

"Some?!" Gina laughed looking up

"Okay a lot but remember we are feeding a third person" he said looking down at my expanding bump

We both laughed and then carried the food upstairs and got changed. I was still getting ready while luke was already ready and getting everything set up. As I got ready my phone buzzed so I looked through my twitter feed to see pictures of me and luke coming out of the supermarket laughing, I must admit it looked pretty cute so I quickly saved it to my phone. I suddenly felt myself scream and jump into the air

"Luke!" I screamed holding my hand to my chest

He stood there laughing as I tried to catch my breath properly

"Sorry sorry" he said pulling me so close to him are noses just about touched

"I'm not hurting you am I?" I said looking down to my bump as I felt it was pushing against him

"Nope" he said his lips just touching mine, he always did this which made me want him even more

"You always do this" I said my breath in his

"Yeah but you love it" he whispered making me want him even more

I couldn't resist myself any longer, I put my lips against his and kissed him passionately

"Guys wheres.." Beau said walking In

"Not again" he laughed

We both laughed and beau proceeded in getting what he was getting. After beau left luke turned to me and said

"Now where were we?" He laughed

I laughed too and then proceeded in kissing him, one thing I loved the most, feeling his lips against mine every time we kissed
