Chapter thirty five

35.

I woke up early to the sound of my phone buzzing on the bed side locker. I had set an alarm for 8 am so we could have a whole day in Disney and get there early to try avoid some queues.

"Hey Alexa wake up it's Disney time!" I said excitedly shaking her slightly

She woke up with the biggest smile id ever seen on her face and hugged me tightly

"I'm so excited!" She squealed getting up and changed into something comfortable for the day

After a half an hour of getting ready we were both ready to go

"Oh wait" Alexa said running back into the room grabbing Minnie Mouse ears and putting them on

"I'm sorry I had too" she laughed walking hand and hand out of the hotel room with me

I felt my pocket making sure I definitely 100% had the ring which I did so I was happy. I was nervous but I tried not to think about it to much and enjoy the day in Disney. We soon reached Disney In 20 minutes from where we were staying and were in the parks walking around. I'd never seen Alexa so happy In my life, it made me happy too. After walking around all the Disney stores buying clothes and toys for Kayla and then going on the majority of the rides we came to the Disney princess castle, this was my time.
The sun was starting to set and there was a crowd of people just around taking pictures

"Isn't it so magical" Alexa laughed in awe

"It's beautiful" I smiled looking to her

"Can you take a picture of me in front of it?" She laughed happily

I nodded and got her to stand in a particular way so I could get everything in. As I looked at the photo there was many people around Alexa and the sunset and the Disney castle but only one thing stood out to me, her. Nothing else could compare to her beauty not even the sunset and Disney castle, nothing and I was hopefully about to make her all mine

"Let me see!" She said coming over looking at the picture

"That's so cute" she laughed

"I love it, thank you for the most perfect day I couldn't ask for anyone better than you" she said kissing me

"Alexa, I have to ask you something" I said becoming a bit more nervous now, my hands starting to get sweaty

She nodded which indicted me to go on and ask her. She had no idea what was about to happen

"I've been thinking, for a very long time that I love you. I'm not scared to admit it and I never have, I know at the start our relationship wasn't the most ideal with you being pregnant and we were only 17 but I couldn't of asked for it better and I definitely wouldn't change it for the world. I love you with all my heart and I want to grow old with you, I want it to be you that i sit with when I'm much older with our grandkids. I'm in love with you and I want to be with you for the rest of my life. You were my first love and I want you to be my last, so I guess what I'm really trying to say is" I stopped and got down on one knee as I watched her put her hands to her mouth and tears form in her eyes

"Alexa will you marry me?" I asked

"Yes luke, yes yes yes" she cried into me which lead to yells of congratulations around us

I put the ring on her finger and hugged her so tightly. She said yes, that word I just wanted to hear

"It's, so.. So beautiful" she sobbed still crying

"I love you I love you!" She said kissing me again and again

"I'm so happy you said yes" I said looking into her eyes

"Well I was hardly going to say no now was I?" She laughed still crying

"I seriously can not believe this luke, I love you" she said hugging me tightly
