Chapter six

6. *lukes pov*

I arrived home to see jai and beau watching tv in the lounge

I walked in and sat on the opposite couch checking my phone

It was quiet for a minute or two until beau turned off the tv and turned to face me

"So luke" he said

"What beau" I grunted, I wasn't in the humor of being asked stupid questions about god knows what

"We saw you in the mall today with Alexa what's happening" jai winked

"Yeah luke what's happening thought you already hooked up with her?" Beau smirked

Jai and beau knew I was a player, they saw all the girls I brought home or would end up finding out from school

They knew id hooked up with Alexa and that since then i hadn't hooked up with anyone else

I just didn't know wether to tell them she was pregnant, I didn't know how that would go down especially with my mum

"Well?" Beau said again with a smirk on his face

"I emh I.." I choked on my words, I didn't know what to say

Should I tell them the truth? I suppose I should everyone was going to find out sooner or later

"I met up with her today because she had something important to tell me" I stopped and looked at their faces, they looked confused but I continued anyway

"And we talked for a while and well now we're going out" I was stopped by beau who's faced had dropped and jai who was in disbelief

"Luke brooks, has a girlfriend..?" beau laughed

"So she just met up with you to tell you she liked you or what" jai asked

"No, not exactly. It turns out that when we hooked up a few months ago something happened and she's eh pregnant" I said quickly

"What" beau said looking at me his eyes widened

"Luke tell me this is a joke" jai said putting his hands to his face

"I'm not joking, please don't tell mum! She's going to kill me!" I stated

"Don't tell mum what?" My mum said walking into the room

"Are you serious" I mumbled to myself

I sat there my head in my hands

Well this was just great I'd just told beau and jai and they didn't take it well so what is my mum going to take it like

"Well is anyone going to tell me?" My mum said getting annoyed

"I think you should sit down mum" jai said

"is everything okay? No ones hurt or sick are they?" She asked more worried

"No mum everyone's fine it's just luke has something to tell you" jai said

"Okay well go on luke" my mum said

"Well first thing is I have a girlfriend an.." My mum cut me off by congratulating me

"Oh luke that's great! What's wrong with that, that you couldn't tell me?" She asked confused

"No there's more" I said looking down

"Oh okay well carry on" she said more serious

"Her names Alexa and a few months ago well we eh hooked up and well I don't know what happened but today she asked to meet up saying it was serious and it turns out she's..she's pregnant" I said not taking my eyes off the floor
